Chapter Thirty Seven

Angelica's POV

I was in my mate's study room, going over the next entry of my great grandmother's diary, together with my mates.

So my dear great granddaughter, if you're in this page, then it means you have at least ONE mate who didn't mark you in his full vampire mode.

For the boy to resist your aura, there is only one way.

Both you and your mate have to bite into your marks left on each other's bodies.

I read it out loud and looked up while scrunching my eyebrows.

"Huh? That's easy. I wonder why she even wrote it in the next entry, she could have just wrote it right away." I said with a tone of confusion.

"Well come on Seungcheol, you heard the diary, let's-" I was cut off my sentence when Jisoo pulled me back.

"Hold on there Beautiful. There's more written." He said while taking the book from my hand.

But know this my dear, YOU must bite on the mark you left on him, whereas your mate, has to bite on the area where all your mate's bite align.

And the meaning of this is when the three bite marks are marked on you, there is a sense of power, forming an alignment inside your body. Let's just say a golden thread combining the three bite marks.

Your mate, HAS to bite somewhere in the area OF the thread line, in his full vampire mode for the process to complete on him.

But it will take instincts my dear, he needs to make sure if he'll do it because if he bit the wrong place, it could end his life.

No other area except on the thread area is safe for a normal vampire to lay his mark. Since you've become a full Goddess, your power may kill him through the bite.

Jisoo finished reading and I turned towards Seungcheol whom I was staring at with worried eyes.

"Seungcheol... what should we do?" I asked with tears in my eyes when he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What do you mean? We need to do what your great grandmother said. It's the only way." He spoke while looking straight into my eyes.

"But you could die." I whispered, afraid of the circumstances of this failing.

"I need to at least try.... for you Angel." He said determined, before placing a soft kiss on my lips and pulled away.

Seungcheol's POV

She stared into my eyes, searching if I'm a hundred percent sure about what I'm doing while I gave her an assuring smile.

She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and tip toeing up to reach the area where my neck and shoulder connect and bit the area she placed her mark on before letting go.

I felt the surge of her energy entering me.

Jeonghan and Jisoo sat on the sofas, while I took off her top and stared at the three bite marks on her collarbone and one on each shoulder.

It will take instincts.

I transformed into my full vampire form while she stared at me with fears in her eyes, afraid that something will go wrong.

But I can't let her down. I can't leave her. We promised each other.

I stared at her marks trying to figure out with my instincts about how the golden thread, as said in the diary would be formed around the three marks.

I don't know how long I was standing there and staring until something started forming on her chest.

My eyes widened a little and I blinked a couple of times when I saw that the three marks were glowing and just like it was written in the book, a golden threat was formed, joining the mark.

I smiled as I leaned down and bit into the flesh of the other side of the collarbone beside my first mark as the energy from her surged through me big time.

I retreated afterwards and released her while she placed her top back on and I transformed back into my normal self.

"Did it work?" Jeonghan asked while Angelica stared at him for a second before stepping back and transformed into her Goddess form.

Both my brothers were beside me at once, ready to catch me if I ever kneeled or maybe faint but I smiled as I just looked up bravely and stared straight into her eyes.

She flapped her wings once where a wave of air and energy flow through us as I just closed my eyes and relished in it.

I opened my eyes once again to see her full blown smile as she quickly changed back and crashed me in a hug.

"You did it!" She squealed as I wrapped my arms around her and spun her around before she crashed me into a toe curling kiss.

"Congratulations bro." Jisoo said and patted my back as the both of them formed a big hug with Angelica in between.

"I love you three.... so so much." She stated when we pulled away and saw tears in her eyes even though she was smiling so brightly.

"We love you too Angel.... so much more." I answered giving her a soft forehead kiss, as I felt her hands around me tightened.

So much that I would do anything I can, not to lose you.
