Chapter Thirty Two

Angelica's POV

With a smile on my face, I ran as fast as I could towards their study room to give them the good news.

My feet accelerated faster when I saw the familiar large doors and quickly barged into the room in a heartbeat before my smiling face was replaced by a shocked one.

The whole room was torn apart and the messiness that I saw right in front of my eyes was unbelievable and the sight which shocked me most of all were the blood scattered all across the room.

I looked around, with tears brimming in my eyes as to who had done this and if they had hurt my mates.

I turned towards the left side and saw everything which was once neatly organized, now discarded in every way possible.

A gasp escaped my lips when I turned towards the right side and saw on the wall, my three mates, unconscious and bloody, being tied up from the ceiling.

A hand was placed over my mouth as I stared at the three of them in horror and my heart contradicted and clenched in the most painful way possible.

"W-w-wh-what happened?" My voice was barely voiced out while I collapsed onto my knees as tears continued falling down my face.

I couldn't think straight and my mind was numb seeing my mates being tied up with chains and blood oozing out from them.

The only thing in my mind right now was to yell out someone, to help them.

"R-Rebecca! REBECCA!" I screamed at the top of my voice while wrapping my arms around myself and staring at what was in front of me with tears in my eyes.

"What? What happened?" She came bursting through the open doors immediately, when she saw me on the floor before turning to what I was looking at.

The moment she did, she screamed from the top of her voice before stumbling backwards.

Soon, footsteps where heard coming up the stairs fast and the rest of her brothers came into the room only to have the same reactions as I did.

Shock.

Mingyu and Wonwoo came over to me to help me up while Jun and Hoshi went over to the wall to get my three helpless mates down.

Vernon and Dino had helped Rebecca as she was also in the same condition I was. Frankly, everyone was but I had the hardest hit of all.

Who would do this? Especially to them?

Jun and Hoshi laid the three of them down on my king size bed in my room since I want to take care of them.

They had all left me alone to allow me to change their clothes and wash the wounds.

I couldn't care less about if they were naked in front of me because I couldn't actually see a thing with tears falling down my face.

I wiped all the blood away and tried patching up all the wounds and cuts I saw on their bodies.

Every time I see a cut so deep, I winced as my heart ached so hard seeing them in this amount of pain.

I checked their breathing and for sure I knew they're still alive. They're just knocked out.

As they're freshly cleaned with new pairs of clothes, I softly placed my comforter above the three of them while I sat on the sofa near the bed, watching over them.

I couldn't stop the overflowing tears which doesn't seem to want to stop anytime soon while seeing the three of them still out cold.

I really hope they wake up soon. It's unbearable seeing them like this.

Seungcheol's POV

I lightly groaned as the pounding headache prevented me from waking up fully.

I sat up and messaged my temples before opening my eyes slowly until I noticed that I wasn't in my room.

I felt my whole body aching and saw that there were many bandages around my body and pain shoots throughout whenever I try to move.

I looked to my right and saw Jeonghan and Jisoo fast asleep and they were in the same position I was.

Bandages sticking out from under the shirts we were wearing as I slowly tried shaking them awake.

The both of them groaned while sitting up and by the looks of their facial expressions, I can tell that they were also in pain.

I tried recalling what happened to make us busted up this bad until the painful memory flashed into my mind.

They were here for Angelica. But thank god they left her alone for now.

"Where's Angelica?" Jeonghan asked frantically, probably worried if the guys who attacked us earlier might have gotten her.

"There." Jisoo spoke softly and gestured his head towards the direction as I turned to my left to see our little Angel on the couch, fast asleep.

Her posture was quiet awkward and by the looks of it she must be feeling very uncomfortable.

I tried moving as slowly as I can, and winced every time pain shoots throughout my body.

I tried my best to lift her up from the couch, despite my wounds and place her down on the bed where I was sleeping on.

I looked at her face to see her cheeks stained with dried tears as my heart ached seeing that she had been crying.

"Even though she's asleep, I can tell she had been crying due to the puffiness of her eyes." Jeonghan commented to which I nodded before sitting on the bed beside her sleeping form.

"Imagine how shocked she must have been seeing us in that position." Jisoo sadly spoke out which made me frown as I slowly caressed her cheeks.

"We need to protect her. Enduring this amount of pain is nothing compared to the pain we'll experience when losing her." I stated, earning nods from the two before I leaned down and planted a soft kiss against her forehead.

Then, I slowly scooted her over towards Jeonghan's side before laying down on the bed beside her.

"Let's rest. We're all tired." I spoke out softly before comfortably laying down beside her and wrapping my arms securely around her waist.

We don't care how much it hurts. We'll endure it as long as it keeps you safe Angel.

With that thought in mind, I lightly kissed into her hair before closing my eyes and falling into a deep sleep with my beautiful Angel in my arms.
