Chapter Thirty

Angelica's POV

"Wake up Beautiful. It's time for breakfast." I heard a soothing voice wake me up as I groaned and tried to open my eyes.

When they were opened fully, I smiled seeing Jisoo sitting on the bed and smiling down at me, which brought a fuzzy feeling inside my chest.

"What time is it?" I spoke softly since I'm not a fan of moving my lips widely before brushing my teeth.

"It's 9am in the morning." He replied as he helped pull my body up by holding my hand and made me lean against his body, since I was still feeling sleepy.

I placed my palm above my lips and yawned, while blinking my eyes continuously to clear the blurriness after yawning.

"You should have woken me up earlier." I said groggily while leaning against his chest, placing my head against it, almost falling asleep again.

I heard him chuckle and his chest vibrated as he started placing his arms under my knees and lifted me up bridal style.

I looked up at him confusingly while he just smiled and carried me towards my bathroom.

"My beautiful mate is tired, so why don't I do your morning routine for you." He spoke while placing me beside the sink, as it was the only way for me to be his height.

He added some toothpaste on my toothbrush and sprayed water on it before asking me to open my mouth.

I did as he told since I was too tired to deny as he brushed my teeth for me and made me rinse it out.

He also slowly dab some water on my face to wash it and lastly rubbed a towel on it to dry.

After it was done, he lifted me up again and now carried me downstairs towards the living room where the 12 of his brothers were sitting around.

"Ohh~ is our Lica awake?" Seungkwan cooed, to which I just smiled softly before leaning against Jisoo's chest and cuddling up to him as he sat on the sofa.

"She looks like a koala bear. Resisting to be away from Jisoo Hyung." Hoshi remarked which caused everyone to start laughing.

I just stuck my tongue out weakly at him, before leaning my head again, feeling my eyes dropping.

"Are you sick Lica? Why do you look pale?" Dokyeom asked while I just lightly shook my head in denial.

"No... I'm just a little tired." I answered softly and soon, I felt a hand placed above my forehead.

"Lica you're burning up. Hyung I think she needs to rest, and maybe take some medicine." Jun exclaimed to which I felt my eyes get tired as I couldn't open them much longer.

"I'm tired." I spoke softly before closing my eyes and cuddling up towards Jisoo's chest and falling into a deep slumber.

I was once again, in a white place where everything my eye could see was white. I have a feeling that I am dreaming again.

"Angelica dear." I turned around and faced my parents who were smiling at me with proud faces.

"Mom.... Dad...." I whispered as I placed a hand above my lips slightly shocked from seeing them in front of me right now.

I quickly embraced them as tears fell from my eyes, while the both of them stroke my hair lovingly.

"I miss you both." I spoke while clutching onto my dad's shirt.

"We miss you too Angel. So much." My dad spoke as I finally let go of the embrace and stared at them.

"Angelica we are so proud of you. You finally transformed and found your mates." My mother praised me while caressing my cheeks.

"Also, the way you decided to control your fate and change the prophecy. You are a true goddess my Angelica. We support you every step of the way to protect the mates you deserve." My dad proudly stated with a smile on his face while I smiled back with tears in my eyes.

"You're never alone my dear. Always remember that." My mother reminded me before letting me go and so did dad.

I wrapped my hands around myself knowing that they were going to disappear soon and I would wake up.

I shot them a last parting smile before they turned around and walked away, before completely disappearing from my sight as everything around me turned black.

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked a couple of times before waking up fully and sitting up on my bed.

I felt something drop onto my lap and I looked at it to see that it was a cooling pad placed on my forehead.

I heard someone groaned beside me and I turned around to see a sight which made the smile on my face to widen.

The three of my mates were sitting on the floor and they had their heads placed on my bed as they were sound asleep.

I slowly lifted my hand and lightly brushed through their locks and I felt a small smile creeping up their faces, seeming to enjoy the feeling.

But soon, they started yawning and sitting up straight as they fully opened their eyes to see me up as their eyes widened and they stood up abruptly.

"Are you hurt Angel?"

"Do you need something babe?"

"Is your fever making you dizzy Beautiful?"

All three of them spoke simultaneously which caused me to chuckle and shake my head.

I motioned them to sit down on the bed around me and they did so, with Seungcheol on my left, Jeonghan on my right and Jisoo right in front of me.

"I feel a lot better. Thank you." I replied and they smiled warmly at me before I felt a hand on my cheeks and saw that it was Seungcheol's.

"Don't ever fall sick again. It hurts to see you unwell." He stated softly while staring deep into my eyes as I gave him a small smile back.

"I won't. You don't have to worry. I promise." I replied to which they all leaned in one by one and gave me a soft kiss on my forehead.

"I love you. Seungcheol, Jeonghan and Jisoo. You know that right?" I spoke when they pulled away from me and I saw them staring at me.

"We do Angelica, and we love you more." Jeonghan commented, before giving me a last kiss on the cheeks and pulled away to leave, since they said they had business to attend to.

I smile and nodded when they asked if I would be alright alone, and waved at them, when they turned around to look at me still unsure to leave me.

I just gave them an assuring smile before they finally left my room as I sat on my bed and started wondering about my powers.

I need to find a way to prevent them from being intimidated by my powers. A way for them to not be affected.

"Maybe a trip to their library wouldn't be a bad idea right now." I mumbled before nodding to myself and getting off the bed.

I exited my room after wearing my cardigan and proceeded towards the second floor where Wonwoo has once told me, that their library is located there.

I walked the path towards the library in the hope to find a book about the history of the Goddess of the Vampire Angel.
