Chapter Thirty Five

Angelica's POV

I walked down the stairs then immediately came to a complete stop as my nose picked up a strange scent and my alertness kicked in.

Someone's here.

I slowly descended down the last flight of stairs and saw a head of red hair on the couch facing away from me and eyes went red knowing who it was.

"What do you want?" I seethed out venomously as the person stood up and turned to fully face me with a smirk on her face.

"Nice to see you again Angelica." Her calm voice caused my blood to boil as the vampire within me was getting ready to surface.

"How dare you enter this place. You want to meet your death?" I spat out while she just smiled.

"Oh honey, I believe it's the other way around." She stated before everything turned red and I transformed into my full form and grabbed her by the neck and pulled her outside of the house.

I held her up by the neck as we were 10 feet above the ground with me baring my fangs at her, while she had a high level of shock on her face.

"You're.... you're..." She stuttered which made me grip her neck harder and a knowing smirk formed on my face.

"Surprise." I spoke in a sing song voice while tightening her air passage as she choked and pulled at my hand which was wringing her neck.

"It can't be... you were supposed..... to be extinct.... 10 million years.... ago..." She choked out while my grip never loosen.

"You're going to pay for what you've done to me and my mates." I threatened with a dark voice which send shivers down my own back.

I can feel power surge through me and an energy to flow through my arm and into my hand which was holding her neck.

"N-no.... y-you can't...." Her voice soften as I sucked the life out of her, leaving her skin black and slowly wrinkle into ashes.

The remains fell onto the ground as I slowly flew down and changed back into my normal self before glaring down at the ashes of her.

"You're weak for a demon." I spoke out emotionlessly before turning back and entering into the house, walking back towards my mate's study room.

I entered without knocking this time and I saw that the both of them were now standing in front of their huge window, looking outside before turning towards me.

"Angelica...." Seungcheol spoke softly as I bit my lower lips and refused to make eye contact knowing that they had just witnessed what happened outside.

I know she deserved it but there is this unsettling feeling inside me, making me feel guilty for ending a person's life.

A gust of wind flew past me as I was engulfed in a warm hug while tears fell down my eyes.

"Shh... don't worry Angel. You know she deserves it. Don't feel bad." Seungcheol's soothing voice calmed me down as the tears slowly fell down my cheeks.

"You made the right choice. She had to be stopped." Jeonghan reassured me while he picked up my hand by my side and lightly gave a peck to it.

"So tell us Angel, what did you mean by your great grandmother was right and about us being in our full vampire mode when marking you?" Seungcheol asked while we were sitting on the couch, me being sandwiched between the two of them.

I played with both of their hands on my lap as I explained them about how I found my great grandmother's diary at a hidden cupboard in one of the bookshelf of their library.

"She wrote that if my mates marked me while they were in their full vampire mode, it would help them withstand my power and aura and therefore, the prophecy can change." I told them while they listened attentively without any interruptions.

"So that means, the process is completed for me?" Jeonghan asked while I turned to him wih a smile and nodded.

"Then what about me?" Seungcheol asked worriedly while I just gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Don't worry about it. After my mating process with Jisoo, that's when I'll read the next entry of how to make you withstand the aura." I reassured while he just gave me a small smile and nodded.

We sat there cuddling for a while before a thought entered my head.

"Where's Jisoo? I haven't seen him since he left this morning." I asked while the two of them gave me weird grins which caused me to raise my eyebrows at them.

Jeonghan swiftly looked at his wristwatch before smiling and standing up, causing Seungcheol to do so and the both of them simultaneously pulled me up.

"Woah!" I exclaimed when I almost tripped over my own feet as I was sitting on the sofa with one leg crossed over the other.

"Let's go!" Seungcheol chirpily said while I furrowed my eyebrows and stared at him confused.

"Where?" I asked deadpanned before being pulled together out of the room and down the stairs, towards the opening between the living room and the dining room.

As they stopped suddenly, I looked from Seungcheol and Jeonghan, back to back, thinking why we were standing here.

"Ouvrez." Seungcheol suddenly chanted from beside me while my eyebrows scrunched, thinking what language that was.

Then all so suddenly, what was once an opening, now was occupied by a while whirlpool which made me gawk my eyes over it.

"What..." I lost my voice while staring at the thing in front of me before the both of them pulled me towards it and we entered a secret place.

So the whirlpool must have been a gateway.

I looked around the place to see that we were in a large room where there was a huge bed, a study table, a bookshelf, a huge couch set and two doors, which seems to be a bathroom and a closet.

Then there was a glass double door which leads to a balcony, which shows the view of a valley and a waterfall not away from there.

"What is this place?" I asked unbelievably while staring at everything.

"It's our secret meeting place. Only the 13 of us knows of this place and now you too Beautiful." I turned swiftly when I heard the familiar voice and smiled seeing Jisoo in a tux with a pink tie.

"We'll be leaving... enjoy your time." Jeonghan announced before the whirlpool opened again and the both of them left.

"Were you here the whole morning?" I asked while walking slow steps towards him and offering him to wrap his arms around me which he does.

"I want our night to be special too. So I asked for privacy from my brothers." He spoke softly as he buried his face in my hair, slowly breathing in.

"Well you look dashing." I complimented as I pulled away to stare at him.

"Thank you Beautiful, because we're having lunch." He stated before pulling me towards the double glass door and opening it to reveal a fully set table filled with food.

I gasped when I saw the view clearly as I was mesmerized by the beauty of it.

"So beautiful." I whispered before I felt hands wrapped around me behind my back.

"Not as beautiful as you." He commented which caused a blush to creep up my cheeks.

"You and your cheesy lines." I said while he chuckled and sat me down on a chair and started feeding me the delicious looking food as we spend the afternoon together.
