As Max entered the room, she immediately noticed the different lighting. It was a quite neat little room, with a big lamp with an orange layer of paper wrapt elegantly around it, making the room light up, while making it feel warm and cosy. A sound made her look to her right, she couldn't place the sound. It was very low and discreet, she was convinced, she only heard it because of the sudden suspicion that had initiated her awareness and heightened her senses just moments before. Max snuck into the room and turned right. Then she saw a narrow little passage into what presumably would be the bathroom.
Max: "Kate! Are you in there? It's Max."
Kate: "Max!"
Kate came out of the door with a towel around her appealing body. Her eyes were tired and sore indicating she might have been crying, making her look unbelievably innocent. She stumbled forth and Max, for her not to fall reached out to support Kate. She fell right into Max, who embraced her, and held her protectively like the fairy she was.
Kate: "Oh God you're here, just in time, I'm so happy!"
Max: "Hey now, it's alright Kate, it's ok. You just relax I'm with you now."
Max met her eyes, still holding her close. Kate hesitated for a moment, then nodded in consent. Max could feel Kate's body heat through the towel and was now abruptly aware of her naked body basically touching her. Max ignored the sensation and focused. She guided Kate to the bed and made her sit.
Kate: "Max you don't know how relieved I am right now. I've wanted to talk to you, and we missed our tea session."
Kate stared at Max with wonder in her eyes. Max appeared absentminded or she just seemed like she was scared to look at Kate.
Kate: "Is something the matter? Please tell me."
Max: "Kate your towel is kinda distracting me, could you maybe put something on?"
Kate felt alleviation from the thought that she wasn't afraid of her, making her confident.
Kate: "Oh my, if that's the case, I can always take it off?"
Kate leaned toward Max teasingly, so that they were just inches away from each other. The atmospheric temperature skyrocketing around them, Max felt her heart race, she was sure Kate was only joking. Or was she? This was too much for her, Kate seemed to have lost her innocent vibe completely.
Kate: "Or you could help me change?"
Kate had an amused expression on her beautiful face. She was moving closer. Kate laid her hand on Max's cheek, and her touch was burning. Max wanted Kate to touch her. But no this isn't right!
Max: "Kate wh-what are you doing.?"
But then Kate burst into a giggling laughter as if it had been a joke, and she managed to speak in between laughs.
Kate: "giggle* I'm sorry Max, but your reaction was so precious, the way you stuttered. I just couldn't hold it in any longer."
Max: " Really!!! Not funny Kate! I thought!..Nothing."
Max wouldn't admit she was almost tricked. She just sat pouting, while refusing to look at Kate.
Kate: "What did you think? C'mon admit it was just one tiny bit of fun."
Max: "Nope!"
Kate: "Well, I better get changed."
Kate stood up and started walking toward the bathroom, but she moved extremely nonchalantly and made sure to push her hips forward. Max couldn't help but peek at Kate's stunning figure wrapped tightly in a towel. When Kate finally made it to the bathroom door she spun around, catching Max peeking at her. Kate chuckled subtly with a hand on the handle to the bathroom. Max averted her eyes rapidly but it only made it worse.
Kate: "Ha knew it! You know...I noticed you didn't say no to me"
She then closed the door as Max laid back on the bed from exhaustion.
