Silly little phase

Simon sits as far away from his parents as he could in this cramped office. So far they haven't said a word to each other despite being cramped here for a hour already. I'm not sure if it would be worse them attempting to talk to Simon. They never had anything to say in the past.

"So if that's all I'm going to print of the last of the paper work." Mr Watson the head teacher of this shitty school said getting up and leaving the room.

Now it was just me, Simon and both our parents.

"Are you into guys as well josh?" Simons mum asked her voice full of spite.

"He's not." Simon snapped, "I don't see why you care. You already hate me."

"We just want you to get over this silly little phase sweetie."

"It's not a fucking phase mum. You know this, everyone in the room knows this. Anyway I don't see why Josh has anything to do with my sexuality." His voice was raised and fists clenched, I don't blame him, I'm close to punching his parents to.

"I don't want you corrupting him." His Dads voice was full of confidence as if he knew exactly what he was talking about when in reality he was clueless.

"What the fuck!" Me and Simon examined in sync.

"Language Josh."

"Mum your really going to let this happen?" I ask my voice full of anger, I can't believe their like this.

"Look I don't like homos much and want Simon to get over this phase quickly, as that's what we all know it is. Once he's over it we will go back to paying for everything as I'm sure Simon's parents will to."

"We will."

"Fucking JJ." Simon muttered.

"Dickhead." I agreed under my breath.

If only Simon wasn't fucking JJ in secret then none of this would have happened. Simon only needed to keep it a secret until he got his trust fund at 18. If only we was one year older.
