Hand in hand

Me and Simon walked home hand in hand, laughing and smiling. Everything was back to normal, no everything was back to better than normal. We was happy and talking. Their was nothing that could go wrong. Everything was right in the world. I was happier than I've ever been dispute nothing being perfect.

Simon strokes my hand with his thumb as we turn the corner. Simon hasn't stopped smiling and has been in a extra cheerful mood. It brightens the day of everyone around him.

"Wanna get tipsy?" Simon asked as he unlocked the door to get into our flat.

"Yes."

Me and Simon were cuddled up not paying attention to the TV drinking out a champagne bottle. My head was on his shoulder and we was just talking. Talking like we always have, talking about the most random shit, talking about the gossip that's been going around at school.

"Remember when we would be sitting outside at our pool drinking this shit." Simon said playing with my hair.

"Champagne and pools." I say, "Sounds like it could be the title of some sappy romance book."

(Fourth wall what's a fourth wall)

"I miss that."

"Same." I admit.

"But if all this never happened neither of us would have admitted our feelings for each other." Simon keeps playing with my hair and passes the bottle to me, "I'm happier than I've ever been."

"So am I." I don't think me and Simon would have ever admitted our feelings for each other if I wasn't for this, "I'm even more confused than I've ever been but I'm happy."

"We should probably thank JJ for being a complete fucking cunt." Simon laughed as I downed the last of the bottle.

"Everything's his fault."

"In a good way or bad?" Simon asked.

"A good way." I respond, "In the best fucking way."

I put the now empty bottle down on the floor and lay my head down on Simon's lap. Everything feels right in the word. At this exact moment in time nothing is wrong. I'm happy. Simon's happy. That's all that matters.

I feel a buzz on my head, "Simon your phones going off."

Simon gets it out of his pocket and looks down at it, "Vikk's facetiming me."

"Accept it then."

"Yo Vikk. What's up dude." Simon said into his phone.

"I was just calling into see how my favourite couple is doing after they kissed and made up earlier today." Vikk said and I laughed from Simon's lap, "Oi Josh where you at then?"

Simon turns his phone down to me, "Hey Vikk."

"So you finally confessed your feelings to each other." Vikk grinned, "I mean from the moment you stepped foot in the school everyone could see your massive crush on each other."

"We confessed our feelings yesterday." I said.

"And Josh confessed his drunk at your party a while back." Simon stood the phone on coffee table so Vikk could see us both, "Bur Josh was too drunk to remember anything."

"So what was you love birds fighting about then?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"We just didn't know what to say to each other after confessing our feelings." Simon admitted.

"Honestly you guys are so cute and Tobi owes me money now you are together."

What?

"Why?" Simon asked.

"We made a bet that you guys wouldn't be together for another month at least." Vikk grinned, "I said it's before that so I win."

"You made bets on us getting together?" Was it really that obvious to everyone.

"I'm not the only one tonnes of people have." Vikk laughed, "So when are you going to tell people your together?"

"We haven't spoke about that yet." I said, "I'm not sure."

"Alright guys. I got to go bug Tobi for money see you."

"Bye." Simon hung up the face time call, "So when are we going to tell people?"

"We could just let them figure it all out for themselves."

"Sure. Why not."

Authors note

I thought they deserved some time together happy before the problems start. See I'm kind. I may even give you a cute chapter off fluff before the problems start because what's a story without problems. I love drama.

I'm not a fan of soulmate AUs and the wearing skirts thing. Like pretty in your skirt was really good and a few were i think it's a bit overused now. I don't think their bad at all their usually really good story's.
