"It will be good for you to get out of the house." My best friend, Shawn said. He was sitting on the couch beside me scrolling through his phone as he talked.

"Yeah, but I have to deal with my annoying brother, I can barely even stay in the same room with him." I said rolling my eyes.

Shawn chuckled and shook his head, "it won't be that bad, trust me." He turned off his phone and placed his hand on my thigh. I laid my head on Shawn's shoulder and continued to watch the movie we were currently watching together.

"Should I take this?" I asked holding up a black bikini for Shawn to see. He swallowed hard and nodded his head before looking back at his phone. I looked at him confused, but just shook it off and put the bathing suit into my bag.

"I'm all packed." I said zipping up the stuffed bag.

"Good, so I can finally go to sleep." Shawn said turning off the light beside him.

I pulled the covers out from under me and pulled them over my body. Shawn did the same thing and turned to face me. Shawn and I have been best friends since we were in 3rd grade, so my parents didn't really care if Shawn and I slept in the same bed. We just sat there in a comfortable silence just looking at each other. A small smile formed on Shawn's lips.

"What?" I asks laughing.

"You have mascara on your nose." Shawn said before taking his thumb to wipe the black goop off my nose.

I yawned and cuddled closer to Shawn. I laid my head on his chest as his arm wrapped around me holding me close to him.

"Goodnight." Shawn said before kissing my cheek.

"Goodnight Shawn."
