two gallons of strawberry ice cream and 1 seasons of friends made me feel slightly better. i wasn't crying as hard anymore, and i was trying to get my mind off of him.

"you need to get out of this house." my brother said entering my room. i rolled my eyes and pulled my blanket over my head. i groaned when i felt him rip them off of me.

"i'm tired of you mope around here because shawn didn't want you." he said making my heart hurt.

"Fuck you." i said in a stern voice looking at him with puffy red eyes. his face softened when he met my eyes.

"you really like him don't you?" he asked sitting down on the edge of my bed. I nodded my head causing him to sigh. he got up from my bed and left my room without saying anything else.

i reached for my phone to see that i had no notifications. i picked back up my ice cream and continued watching friends.

i was woken up by a soft knock on my door.

"go away." i said in a raspy voice.

"liz," my stomach filled with butterflies when i heard his voice. the door opened more revealing his tall frame, "we need to talk."

"i think we've said enough." i said looking away from him.

"no, you said enough. i didn't even get to say anything because you wouldn't let me explain." shawn said walking towards me.

"there was nothing to explain Shawn! I heard you're conversation." i said raising my voice.

"no Elizabeth, you heard part of my conversation." He said keeping his voice calm. I rolled my eyes and pulled my covers closer to my body.

"Liz i love you, you know that," I cut him off before he could say anything else.

"No, no you don't. If you loved me you wouldn't of done this." I said shaking my head.

"I did this because I love you! If you would just let me fucking explain Elizabeth you would know that. But you just have to be stubborn." He said before rubbing his hands over his face.

"My manager said that I needed to break up with you because our relationship was distracting me. It wasn't like I just chose to break up with you." He said looking at me with hurt and anger on his face. My heart was pounding harder and faster than ever. The tears that threatened to spill gave way and fell down my face.

"Well I guess it was the right thing to do." I said regaining myself and wiping my tears. Shawn's brows knitted together as he looked down at the ground.

"Yeah, I guess so." He said turning towards the door.

"Wait Shawn," I said stopping him from turning the door knob, "does this mean our friendship is also over?" I asked before swallowing hard. He turned around to face me. His angry expression turned soft as he looked into my glossy eyes.

"No," he said in almost a whisper, "no, it doesn't."
