I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. I sat up quickly, i called Shawn's name wondering where he was. When he didn't respond I decided to go downstairs. I turned the corner to see Shawn talking to my mom.
"Good morning." Shawn said noticing me.
"Morning." I smiled and walked over beside him. We both leaned up against the sink and talked to my mom.
"I don't understand why you two aren't a couple, you would make the best-," I cut her off. I could feel my cheeks turn bright red.
"Mom," I said covering my face trying to hide my embarrassment.
"Okay, okay." My mom said causing Shawn to laugh.
"So are you ready to tell her?" My mom asked taking her eyes off the runny eggs she was scrambling to look at Shawn.
"Tell who what?" I asked confused. My eyebrows forced together as I looked at them.
"Well," a small smile formed on Shawn's lips, "im going to the cabin with you guys." I instantly became happy. My arms wrapped around Shawn's neck causing him to laugh out of surprise. He wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head on my shoulder.
"Maybe this trip won't be so bad." I whispered to Shawn. I could feel him smile as his grip tightened.
