it's been about 2 months since Shawn started his tour. He was about to get a week break, and is supposed to be coming home soon. I couldn't wait to see him. I missed him so much.

"Liz can you come down here for a sec?" My Mom yelled from downstairs. I trudged downstairs to see her cooking some hamburger meat on the stove.

"Can you go to Karen's? She has a few treats she wants us to have, but she isn't feeling too great so will you go get them?" My Mom asked as she frosted a red velvet cake.

"Sure, can I take your car?" I asked.

"Yeah, the keys are on the hook." i grabbed the keys and walked out to her car. i backed out of the driveway and drove to shawn's. i felt a little weird going to his house since he wasn't there. after about a 5 minute drive i was there. i grabbed the plate and walked to the door. my fist collided with the wooden door as i knocked. Aaliyah opened the door with a big smile. 

"liz, come on in." she opened the door wider for me to come in. 

"just put that on the counter in the kitchen." she said. i nodded and sat it down on the kitchen counter. 

"is that red velvet?" i jumped when i heard the familiar voice. i turned around to see shawn leaning against the doorway with a smirk. my smiled curved into a huge smile. 

"you're back." i said happily as he hugged me. he squeezed me tightly against his body. 

"i missed you so much." he said cupping my cheeks with his large hands. he leaned closer to me, closing the small space between us by placing his lips on mine.
