Today was the day that my dad was moving out. He found an apartment across town that had two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a small kitchen. It wasn't the best, but it was good for him. My brother was helping carry all of his boxes to the moving van while me and mom made sure they got everything.

I was putting a few of the photos that my dad wanted to take with him when I came across a family picture. Noah and I stood in front of mom and dad. My mom was behind me with her hands on my shoulders, my dad was doing the same with Noah. We all had smiles on our faces. We looked so happy, we looked like a family. A tear slid down my face as I sat it in the cardboard box.

"Liz," I looked up to see Noah leaning against the door, "Are you okay?" Noah and I barely spoke. He was always busy doing something. Even when we went to the cabin he wasn't social with us. That is when it hit me. Noah is always quiet around us. He isn't the typical 17 year old boy. We aren't the siblings that argue and fight 24/7, and that is because we don't even talk. I barely know anything about him.

I sighed and wiped the tears off my cheeks, "Yeah." He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head on his chest and cried softly.

"It's going to be okay. We'll get through this. I know we aren't as close as we should be,  but we are all we have right now." Noah said making me hug him tighter. He was right.

"Now, let's get these boxes out of here." He said picking up a box labeled, 'clothes.'

It took almost all day to get everything out of the house, but we did it. The sun was starting to set, so I decided to go watch the sunset. I knocked on Noah's bedroom door. It swung open revealing him in a gray sweatshirt and black gym shorts. His brown hair was messy, and his green eyes were puffy.

"Do you want to go on a walk with me?" I asked softly.

"Sure, just let me put on some shoes." He said grabbing his Nike slides.

We left the house and walked out of the neighborhood.

"I, uh, heard about you and shawn." Noah said stuffing his hands in his hoodie's pocket.

"Yeah, it hurts, but i'll get over it." I said looking down at the grass growing through the crease of the sidewalk.

"He obviously didn't want to do it." Noah said.

"How do you know?" I asked glancing up at him since he's so much taller than me.

"I'm a guy lizzy, I can tell. He seemed really into you, and if his manager wouldn't of made him do it, then probably would of never done that." Noah said making my heart ache. I stayed quiet and thought about what he said.

"It's starting to get dark, want to head back home?" He asked stopping.

"Yeah." I said and walked along the side of him. It was nice to actually talk to him and spend time with him.

I laid in bed staring up at the ceiling. The whole house was silent and dark. My phone started ringing causing me to jump. I looked at the caller ID and almost fell off my bed when I saw his name.

"Hey." My voice was soft and almost a whisper.

"Did I wake you?" Shawn's sounded concerned.

"No, uh what's up?" I asked confused at why he was calling me this late, or why he was even calling me.

"I miss you."
