Flug felt like banging his head on the table, and so he did.

"No ideas. Absolutely nothing. Useless. Empty. Brain" he scolded himself.

It was only a matter of time before his boss came in and expected new plans, and he would have nothing to show him. How would that make him look?

Flug looked at his watch. 4:19. He needed inspiration, and decided that stretching his legs would be good for him. Plus, there were many artifacts and souvenirs that Black Hat kept around the manor that could possibly give him ideas. Flug got up, swiftly leaving the lab, and ignoring the vertigo.

He walked down the hall, pondering things. He didn't want to do another concoction, he did one of those the week previous. A gun seemed to be his cop out, since they were so easy, and though he'd have liked to do something more complex to impress Black Hat, he didn't have the time.

Flug jumped out of his skin at the loud knock that echoed just down the hall from the front door. Who in God's name would dare knock on the doors of Hat Manor? Since it was so rare that they got visitors, everyone else would no doubt be at the door shortly, including Black Hat.

The demon was always eager to meet the brave souls who dared knock on his door. Last time, it was a girl scout. Poor little Amanda was no doubt scarred, though her mother, Ang Mundo, didn't seemed bothered by it ("She'll recover, she recovered the last time she saw you in action, she'll be fine in a week"). It was a good thing too, they were one of Flug's favorite neighbors.

Flug rushed to the door, hoping to see Black Hat's next gruesome murder. Flug ran down the hall, seeing his boss just arriving at the door. He just got there in time as the demon flung the doors open in a violent fashion. The room fell silent, as no one could believe their eyes.

There stood a young girl, her white hair flowing like flowers in the wind. Flower Petal had ditched her flower outfit for a hoodie and sweat pants, and a pair of sunglasses.

"Hello Black Hat" she said plainly, inviting herself in.

Is she trying to commit suicide?! Flug asked himself in disbelief. Black Hat didn't speak, just stared in plain confusion.

How did she of all people find my Island? Is the rest of her stupid little possy trying to surround the manor? he thought to himself.

"I'm not here to fight you" Flower said, not meeting Black Hat's eye.

"Good, but I warn you," Black Hat raised an eyebrow, "the only reason you are alive right now is my curiosity, so you had better explain-"

"Oh my God Flower Petal?!" Dementia's sudden shriek pierced the air. She ran to hug the sidekick, but Flower dodged her, sending the lizard skidding into a wall. 5.0.5 looked on from a doorway, extremely concerned.

"Black Hat, if I'm to explain myself, may I have a moment with you alone?" Flower asked. Black Hat gave her a once over. What does the baby weed want? If she was trying to get him alone so she could kill him, she had a nasty surprise in store. Black Hat sighed.

"Fine then. You three, leave"

Flug had a bad feeling in his stomach. What was she going to say to him? He only nodded, turned, and placed a small hat-shaped object on the floor. No one seemed to notice it as he exited the room, Dementia and 5.0.5 close behind. Flug motioned for the others to follow him into the parlor, and they did so.

Flug sat down on the large, red couch and grabbed phone from his pocket

"Whatcha want Fluggy?" Dementia asked, plopping down next to the scientist.
