Ignis was bored. As an adult, he rarely left his manor. He hadn't seen any reason to. However, children need constant stimulation, and not being able to leave the dark home got slow sometimes. He'd been avoiding the Author since he'd seen his brother burst into his old home. White Hat was so scared, calling his name over, and over. Didn't he see that he was right there? Ignis even waved at him from the window. Glacies had said something about the hole in his head. He didn't think it was THAT bad. You couldn't even see his brain anymore, and the blood had stopped dribbling out randomly (Ignis was proud of that). These thoughts were too heavy for such a small boy. He continued staring out of the window, looking at the grey sky. How dull life had become. "Blackie?" a high voice called. Black Hat turned, seeing Flug in his onsie. He seemed to have a lot of those. This one was light blue with grey airplanes. The little boy ran over to the demon, giving him a squeeze. Flug smiled at him. He still contained his feelings for Ignis. But the emotions were much less.... lethal this time. "What did she want from you this time?" the villain asked. Flug huffed. "Sh-she wants to keep us awake!! She said we'll go to sleep 'soon', b-but when is soon?". "I don't know, last time she told me 'soon' was when I asked when my brother was coming". Flug went quiet, leaning against Ignis' shoulder, his bright orange hair falling all over the place. They did this often, just to enjoy each other's company. "I want to run away". Flug jolted up. He couldn't believe his ears. Had Ignis really dared to say that?! "What do you think you're doing?! You know we're not allowed to say that! Remember what happened to Dementia?!". "I know! But I can't help it! I'm bored, I miss my brother, and I'm so tired!". "We're all tired! But you always want to get out of the house! Y-you're only making her mad!!". "I have people out there that love me, unlike you!". Hurt by the harsh words, Flug felt himself tear up. He opened his mouth. "AUTHOORR" he wailed, promptly collapsing to his knees. The Author was there immediately. She scooped the small child up, allowing him to bury his face in her shoulder. "What's this? My favorite scientist is upset? What's wrong darling?" she asked, her voice smooth. That tone could change at any moment. "B-B-B-Blackie s-s-said.... s-said...." Flug whispered the rest in her ear. The Author's expression didn't change. "Dear dear Flug" she said gently. "No one out there matters, we're all happy in here. And guess what? Everyone in here loves you, and that is a lot of people". That made Flug calm down a bit, and he wiped his eyes. The Author sat him down. "Go find 5.0.5 hm? I'll bet he'd like to play planes with you". Flug left the room with a "Yay!". The Author turned back to Ignis, who shuffled his feet. She sighed. "Ignis, why must you be so difficult? You know Flug is sensitive". Ignis stomped his foot. "I wanna go outside! I promise I won't show myself! I won't even leave the city!". The Author didn't speak, instead holding out her hand for Ignis to take. He did this, and she walked him to the front door. Black Hat didn't know what to expect, with the Author, it could be anything. He remained quiet though. Finally, the adult broke the silence. "I have some work for you to do. You'll be leaving the house, and going to your brother's manor". Ignis couldn't believe his luck. Visiting his brother?!  What fun! The author plucked a key, which was hanging from her bracelet. "You can come and go from his manor as you please with this key, just insert it into the lock of any door, and it will lead you there". Ignis immediately grabbed the key, running to the front door and shoving the key into the lock. With one swift turn, a small flash temporarily blinded Ignis. He cautiously turned the knob (the Author was known for pulling mean tricks, and this would be a great one). But he saw pastel colors and bright candles. Eugh, too bright. But before little Ignis could run through the doorway, a hand roughly gripped his arm and jerked him back. The Author's voice had lost all sweetness and had dropped down to a low mumble. "Když ti zavolám, pak budeš v mé moci". Ignis felt his chest get slightly tighter, as the spell did whatever it needed to. "Now go play, and make sure that you're invisible" the sweetness was back and Ignis ran away from the frightening woman.
