I screamed. I screamed and I wouldn't stop. The room was pitch dark, I couldn't see anything. Erin was shouting for me to calm down. The lights would come back on when the black out was over. That wasn't quick enough though, the monsters only needed a few minutes. A few minutes, that's all the time I had to hide.I got up, but I couldn't see where I was going. I stumbled around making sure I didn't step on anything. I kept my hand on the wall as a guide. The dark. The dark scared me. The things that scared me more, were the monsters. At night if even one of the lights were out, they would come and chase me. As far I as know, no one but me can see them. Even if other people were in the house with me, they would still come to torment me. Those demons have been trying to kill me from day one. It started after Viran died, and it hasn't stopped since.
"EBONY. STOP IT'S DANGEROUS!" Erin yelled for me to go back, but I couldn't, the monsters were getting closer. "WAIT!" He tried running after me. Before he could grab me he tripped over one of the loose floor boards. I kept screaming as I ran down the stairs, it helped to keep the monsters away. Suddenly my foot caught on something, and I was sent tumbling down the rest of the way. The back of my head smash against the floor, as I got to the bottom of the stair case. Slowly I got up, I rubbed my head, my hand felt wet and sticky, my head was bleeding. This was really bad.
A light flickered on, when my eyes adjusted I could see the source clearly. It was coming from Erin' s phone, he turned on his flashlight. "Turn it off. TURN IT OFF!" I shrieked before running into the kitchen. They would see the light, and when they did they would find me faster. He was making everything worse, and he didn't even realize it.
Rummaging through the cupboards in the kitchen, my fingers found a medicine bottle. I shoved the small bottle in my pocket, then I rushed to the large hall closet, slamming the door shut behind me. Medicine. I need to take my medicine. "Hahahahahahahahaha." I was to late. "To late for the meds to kick in now. Why are you trying to hide? You don't want to see me?" The monsters were already here. "That hurts Ebony. Really does." They were outside. They were going to kill me.
"Help me. SOMEONE HELP ME!!!" I screamed, hoping I would be rescued by someone. Not that any one could save me now. Death was knocking at my door, and there was nowhere left to hide.
