Y/N P.O.V.
We headed to a picture booth while crowds of fans followed behind us.
Wow I didn't think I was such a big deal... I followed one girl's eye line and found her staring intensely at my coworker. Oh, of course. Tom.
I tried to stifle my laughter with my hand, but Tom glanced back at me. "What?"
"Nothing!" I laughed again.
"Okay, could you two pose together? The fans can get in the middle of you two," the photographer told us. I scooted over and put my hand on my hip while Tom slid his hands into his pockets.
"Next!" the photographer called.
That girl Linda from earlier came up, this time without Max. She went more towards Tom and hugged his side. "Nice to see you again, Tom."
Ugh, I kinda hate being ignored. Like, who doesn't?
"Nice to see you, too," I deadpanned while Tom chuckled under his breath.
"Should we take the picture now?" Linda said as she continued to hug him.
"Say 'cheese'!" The photographer said, taking the picture.
"Bye Tom, see you later! Oh, and bye... What was your name again?" she asked me.
"My name's Jeff," I said, making Tom laugh and Linda do a fake laugh as she left.
"I don't think she likes memes," Tom said, looking after her as she left. Don't tell me he has a crush on her... Wait, why should I care anyways?
"But she likes Tom," I said with a smirk, looking towards the next fan as the photographer prepared for the next picture.
"I guess," he whispered in my ear, "but I threw away her number anyways."
He snickered as I hit his shoulder, but I laughed as well. It was kind of rude, but for some reason it was nice to know he wasn't interested in her.
Two hours later and I was reeling with surprise at the number of people who had come to see the Marvel newcomers. Tom and I went into the back room with everyone else.
"Okay, the panel was rescheduled for three hours from now, so you can take a breather for a while," a worker said as he left.
"Wanna stick around here but cover up?" Tom asked. I glanced over and found him gazing at me in a way that felt like he was looking at my soul with those beautiful brown eyes. I guess I'm down.
"Yeah, sure. Let me get my glasses." A minute later and I had on both sunglasses and a hat. He put his on as well, and we started to walk to the front of Comic-Con before a security guard stopped us.
"At least wear a mask or something, kids," the man said, frowning. He presented us with plastic masks of Batman and Wonder Woman, which both Tom and I found hilarious.
"I guess we'll be DC for a day," I joked.
Tom nodded. "Yep, now let's go look around."
"Woah, I already feel like I'm lost," I complained, and both Tom and I giggled.
"Let's go see all of the Spider-Mans! Or, would it be Spider-Men? Whatever." He took my hand and led me through the crowd. Wow, his hand is super soft. Okay maybe I have a tiny crush on him. Just a tiny one.
"Look at that one! It looks the most like my costume— I mean suit at home that I made." Tom had apparently forgotten he was in public. He pulled up the mask to look at me and grimace. "Whoops."
"Good going," I teased him.
"Hey, I'm a great Batman," Tom replied in a husky, comical voice.
"I think D.C. Comics would sue us," I laughed as he continued mimicking Batman. I joined in by taking on the role of Wonder Woman.
"Batman, get into the invisible jet!" I yelled, miming like I was jumping into a plane.
"Where is it?" Tom asked. "I guess we can look around more before the panel."
We jumped all around Comic-Con, laughing at each other as we made fools out of ourselves, not stopping for a moment to care what people thought.
