I smiled and ran over to him, pushing him in the swing. I laughed when every time he turned around he accompanied the turn with a weird face at me.

Man... I really love this doof.

"Y/n... Come... here..." Tom said, getting a single work in between each push. I tried to pull back the seat and stop him from swinging, then walked in front of Tom with a smile.

"Yes?" I asked, stepping closer to him. He took this as a chance to wrap his arms around me and put me on his lap like I was a two-year-old.

"Tom!" I giggled and Tom chuckle, holding me as he swung with me still balanced on his lap. After a few swings, he stopped and look around.

Tom hummed. "I guess we shouldn't stay out too awfully late. It's getting pretty far into the night."

We silently walked back to the trailers, side by side. I put my hands behind my back and Tom slid his hands in his pockets, looking at the sky.

I watched the passing buildings and people carefully, trying to remember where everything was so I wouldn't end up lost this time.

"Can I stay over tonight?" Tom interrupted my train of thought.

"Hm?" I asked, looking at his face. He seemed rather serious.

"Could I hang out at your trailer?" he repeated.

"Oh, yeah! Sure you can." I tried not to make a big deal out of it.

"Nice." He continued walking right beside me and I did the same until we reached my trailer.

I opened the door and walked in, Tom coming in after me, closing the door and hesitating before locking it. I frowned, a bit confused by his behavior. There weren't randoms on-set, it was just the film crew and our cast-mates.

Tom walked over to the couch and sat down with his phone. I stood there awkwardly until Tom looked up and smiled. "I wouldn't bite."

Oh wow, I was worried that you were going to chop my limbs off. I smiled back and laid down putting my feet on his lap. "Don't feel like actually sleeping, Tom?" I asked.

He smirked and shook his head. "Who needs sleep?"

"Well, functioning adults for one thing. Basically, everything that's alive," I retorted.

"Being alive is overrated," Tom quipped, and I was about to respond when he leaned over to me and caught my jaw with his hand. I stopped my words before they could start and smiled ever-so-slightly as he pulled me into a searing kiss.

When we broke apart I was a little breathless. I giggled to cover the feeling of awkwardness that filled my chest. "You're right, being alive is overrated if the alternative is that."

"I knew I would get you on my side eventually."

I smiled. "I've always been on your side. Now you get to yours." I punctuated the sentence by shoving Tom onto his literal side, making him fall back onto the couch with a short burst of laughter.

When our lips met again, I couldn't have kept myself from smiling even if I wanted to.
