When we got to our rent house, Robert, Chris, Anthony, and Sebastian went to look for our manager while the rest of us waited. Audra was hugging one of my sides and Scarlett the other. I couldn't bear to look at Tom, and every time I tried, I found myself tearing up. So instead, I looked down with bloodshot eyes.

"Tom, can you stay with Y/n? I'm going to help put things up—Don't argue with me. I'm older, I don't care that you're a guy," Audra said pulling Scarlett with her going inside. I hold up my hand for her not to leave but she left anyways. No..

As soon as they were out of earshot, Tom started talking. Always talking.

"Y/n... I didn't—" Tom tried to approach me but I cut him off, not wanting to hear it.

"Not your fault, I was trying to date a co-worker..." I leaned on the car and looked at the house.

"No, not that at all, I..." He tried to explain himself but stopped mid-sentence.

"Then what,Tom?... Just—I'm going to help as well." I put my hands up, trying to get out of there. I didn't need to know his reason. 

He stayed quiet and look down."G-great Tom j-just great," I tried to say out loud but ended up cracking my voice from trying not to cry. 

He still wasn't talking back as I saw a tear fall from his face. I stopped and looked at him with my red nose from crying. I gave up everything and flopped my arms down and turned around to walk away.

".......Y/n.........I didn't break up with you because I wanted to. It's because I was forced to," he blurted out before I could run away. 

"Forced too? Cliché." I rolled my eyes, not only at him but also myself for wanting to believe him.

"...Alessandra threatened your career if I kept dating you..... Apparently she was stalking you because of your connection to me and found out about us..." Tom told me, grabbing my shoulders. Then he looked down to sigh as I stayed quiet. I knew then that I hadn't stopped liking Tom so quickly, or maybe even... loving him.

"She said if I didn't break up with you that instant, she would have the story blasted through the news about me and you.... Then Audra talked to me about not caring about what others think.....But Alessandra sent me a picture of you and me kissing and I panicked... I'm really sorry..., Y/n," he said really quickly, making me take a few steps back. Alessandra was stalking me.... That's why she had tagged me... To threaten me!

"Tom, you could have just told me what was going on instead of doing things so quickly," I said, hugging my arm. "You can't do stuff like that, thinking you're protecting someone. It's not your choice to decide things like that!"

"I wasn't thinking at the time. I didn't want to ruin your career," He looked at me deeply. "Please don't go, Y/n."

I paused, and in the moment it took me to open my mouth, he got on both his knees like he was begging. There was no hesitation in his movement.

I got on my knees in front of him as well and said, "I would never go, Tom."

In the moment it felt just so nice, so I gave him a sweet, chaste kiss and he returned it.
