Part 26 ***TRIGGER WARNING***

*Ashton's P.O.V.*

Have you ever had your heart ripped out? Broken into a thousand pieces? It hurts, trust me. I dont even know what to do with myself. She never answered my calls or any of the boys calls, its been 3 weeks. I have done nothing but sit in the dark of my room, sleeping the hurt away. Putting on a smile for the fans during a concert, never wanting them to know. Life just feels so worthless right now. Giving up on her was the hardest, because not matter how much i wanted to believe that she would pick up and say 'Ashton i love you im coming back' it never happened, and i had to come to terms with that. But i havent. i cant even think straight, my mind dizzy and i feel numb. "Ashton, mate" Luke said as he walked in, turning on the light. "We need to talk" he said, sitting on the bed. I pushed myself up,"Whats up?" I asked, my voice raspy from sleep and a dry throat. "Its about Alex" He said, "I dont want to talk about her" I half whispered, my heart hurting "You need to hear this mate" Calum said, I nodded for Luke to continue. "Shes in a hell hole" He said, "she hates herself for leaving you" He half whispered, "then why did she leave?" I yelled, tears in stinging my eyes. "She didnt have a choice" Michael said, "Eric, her brother, threatened her that if she didnt leave you and be with Austin then he would hurt you" Luke said, I looked up at him, "She left me, to save me?" I asked, he nodded slowly. "Mate, she needs out help. She has bruises everywhere, a black eye, shes stick thin and she has um, scars on her legs" Luke whispered the last part. "we have to save her, i dont care if i get hurt, shes worth it" I said, jumping out of bed. "Uh, you might wanna shower first mate" Calum said, I nodded and walked into the bathroom. Why had i been so stupid? I knew she wouldnt just leave me with no explanation. I was so focused on my broken heart, i forgot to use my brain. I had the quickest shower i could, chucking on ripped skinny jeans and a baggy KISS singlet. "Alright, so whats the plan?" i asked walking into the lounge. "We have no clue" Calum sighed. "I have to see her" i half whispered, "I dont think thats such a good idea mate" Luke said, i just shook my head. "I have to see her" i half yelled. "Alright mate, calm down. We'll go see her, just not now. Austin came home when i was there, he didnt even know i was there" Luke said, I sighed, sitting on the couch. "I just want her to be safe" i whispered, putting my head in my hands. "Us too mate, us too" Michael said, patting my back. We all just sat there in silence, thinking of different ways to save her. My mind was going crazy, i was filled with anger, confusion, worry and sadness, i didnt know what to do. My phone began to ring in my pocket, "Hello?" i sighed, not checking the ID. "Ashton" the voice whispered, she was crying. "Alex" i said, sitting forward on the couch, the boys all looked at me. "Ashton, im scared" She whimpered, her voice shaky. "Alex, what wrong?" i asked, the boys faces filled with worry. "Ashton, hes so angry, he knows Luke was here" she said, i heard banging and muffled yells on the other end of the phone. "Alex, where are you?" i asked, standing up from the couch. "I locked myself in the bathroom" she half whispered, "Ashton hes going to break down the door any moment" she half whispered. "Alex, we're coming to get you" i said, the boys all got up, running around the house, grabbing their stuff. "Ashton" she whispered, her voice shaking, "Im sorry". "Its okay, its not your fault" i said, running out the door "Ashton save me" she whispered. I heard a huge bang through the phone, "Come her you little slut" I heard Austin hiss. "Austin, please no" i heard he say, "No" she yelled and the phone went dead. "Alex" i half whispered, "Drive faster" i yelled at the driver. It seemed like forever before we got there, kicking in the door i ran up-stairs. "Alex" i yelled, running into her room. Things had been thrown everywhere, pictures broken, i looked at the bathroom door and it was broken. "Alex" i half whispered, walking into the bathroom, i saw her phone, smashed, lying in pieces on the floor, drops of blood splattered around it. I shook my head and walked back into the room, "Alex" i whispered, collapsing to the floor, tears sting my eyes, i lent against her bed, resting my elbows on my knees, running my hands through my hair. "Alex, im sorry" i whispered, tears beginning to trickle down my cheek. "Ash" Calum said, sitting down beside me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, pulling me in for a hug, i rested my head on his shoulder. "We'll get her back, i promise" he said. "I promise"
