Part 34 ***Trigger Warning***

*Ashton's P.O.V*

"I'm so glad you saved me" "But i didnt" "But you will" the words kept running through my mind, tossing and turning all night i couldnt get them out of my head. What did she mean i will? Why would she even say i saved her when all i did was let her down? What if i let her down again? I dont know if i can protect her the way i want to protect her, what if she ends up in hospital again? what if...what if she doesnt make it that time? "I'm so glad you saved me" "But i didnt"  was all i could think. I looked around me, was i dreaming? everything seemed to feel like a nightmare right now. Where was i? i looked around, a white corridor, this place looked all too familiar, i was in a hospital. "Im sorry mate" i heard someone say behind me, i turned around and saw the boys standing there, with Alex? i slowly walked closer, "I cant believe this happened" she said, tears were running down her face, "This is all my fault" Michael pulled her in for a hug, "Its not your fault" he said, "Its Erics fault" he hissed, Eric? i thought i told him to stay away. "He was just trying to protect me" she cried, who was she on about? "Ms Alex?" The doctor said behind me, i turned around. "Its time to say your final goodbyes" he said, what was going on. I followed them as they walked down the familiar white hallways, stopping outside a room, i walked in after everyone, but i couldnt see a face yet, they were all standing in the way. "I cant believe this" Alex cried, Luke wrapping an arm around her shoulder, "I dont want to say goodbye, but i have to. Im so sorry, i'll always love you" she said, her voice shaking, "Mate, things will never been the same, i miss you, i love you mate" Michael said, tears now running down his face. "You're a brother to me, i promise ill always remember you" Luke said, they were all crying now. "Calum, mate, you wanna say anything?" Luke asked him, he just stood there and shook his head, Michael pulled him in for a hug. The doctor soon walked in, walking over to the wall, he flicked a switch, the machine stopped beeping. "He's gone" Alex cried into Luke's shoulder. "I've lost my brother" was all Calum said, before bursting into tears and crying into Michael's shoulder. "Come on, lets go home" Michael said, "Goodbye mate" he said, before leading Calum out of the room, tears running down his cheeks. "I'll always love you" Alex said before kissing the figure and walking out of the room, and i swear for a moment she looked me right in the eyes before walking out of the room. "I cant believe this happened, i'll always love you mate. You were a good person, you didnt deserve this. Goodbye, forever and always in my heart Ashton Fletcher Irwin" Luke said before walking out, did he say my name? i walked over to the figure, fear running through my body and i saw myself lying on the hospital bed, pale and lifeless. I turned around, running out of the room, i ran down the hallways before running out of the hospital. "Alex" i yelled across the car park, she stopped, i ran closer. "Alex" i said again, she turned around, looking at me, tears still streaming down her face. "Alex, you alright?" Luke asked, walking up to her, she looked at him and nodded, before looking back at me. She shook her head and walked off. I watched as they drove off, i dont know what happened or how i got here, but it all felt so real. Was i dead? Or was i just in the middle of a nightmare? I shook my head, squeezing my eyes shut, "Wake up, wake up" i said, i opened my eyes and looked around. I was in someones house, Alex's house? "Mate im worried about her" i turned around and saw Michael and Luke standing there, "She hasnt eaten, she wont talk to anyone, she wont leave the house, all she does is sleep" Luke sighed, they looked towards the stairs as Calum walked down. "Well?" Michael asked, Calum shook his head, "I think she need help, she has new, uh, new marks on her arm" he said, i looked up the stairs, everything else became a blur. I slowly made my way upstairs, opening the door to her room. She was just sitting there on the bed, the room was dark, i walked closer and saw her tear stained face, she thinner as well, pale. She didnt look well, i can see what the guys were on about. "I cant do this anymore" she whispered, she got up and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her. Calum walked into the room, he walked over the door, trying to open the lock but nothing he started screaming her name, the other guys running in, together they kicked down the door, screaming at the sight they saw when they opened it, Michael dialed the ambulance and everything froze, i walked in, blood covered the floor, i looked at her, she was lifeless, a large cut running down her arm. I stepped back in horror, why would she do this. When would this nightmare end?
