Ch.5

Aaron's POV

"You stupid piece of sh-!" Dante broke down my office door. He seemed pissed, way pissed, which was only making me pissed.

"Dante calm down!" I was yelling just to get his attention, but it seemed to anger him more. He stormed right up the me and shoved me back.

"What was that for!? I am your Alpha obey me!" If he kept this up it means he's challenging me for the Alpha position. "Stand down!"

"Stand down! You want me to stand down! After what you did I don't think I can ever be near you again!"

What on earth is he talking about?

"What are you saying?!" I shouted.

"Why Aaron? Why? Why to Aph?" when he said her name... I froze. "Why did you replace her with maria?" I was taken back by his words.

"I don't know what your talking about." I stated sternly. Obviously not wanting to talk about this.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about!"

"Fine you wanna know why!?" I paused trying to catch my breathe from yelling so much. "Because I forgot about her. Because I didn't want to hurt her or loose her." I said in a small whisper.

"Well it's too late for that." Dante said.

I swerved around grabbing him by the neck "Spill! What do you know?!" Now I was really fuming.

"Aphmau was back at the old pack house. I saw her and talked to her, but our chat was cut short when Ein made a surprise visit. He told Aph how you had replaced her and to make her believe him, Ein showed her through a magic Mirror. She..." He stopped a few tears slipping down his face he quickly wiped them away and glanced at me. I let my hand go from around him neck.

"She what?!" I screamed letting a few tears escape my eyes as well.

"She went with Ein, as his mate-" I didn't give him a chance to finish as I flipped my desk over and practically destroyed the room. I stopped once I heard him speak again. "You didn't let me finish. She also... Had a little girl with her. A baby girl, your baby girl to be exact and Jacob." I dropped to the floor.

I have a daughter? I have a daughter. I have a baby girl. The thought brought me happiness, but then I remembered it's my fault. It's my fault! God damit!

I broke down not caring how weak I was showing myself to be. I coukd stop the sobs from coming out of my mouth. I did this. Again! What is wrong with me!? Irene please! Please! Just please bring her back to me once and for all! I beg you!

Nothing! Nothing can help what I've done. Nothing.

Lilith, Aphmau's sister left a few months after the attack with her mate to find her sister. We haven't seen her since then. Everyone is gone all I have left... Is nothing.

I picked myself up off the office floor. And walked out the door leaving Dante in the room. I needed to be alone for a while.

"Aaron baby." Maria cooed. I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want?" I asked with a blank expression.

"You." she said. I groaned.

"Your not my mate." I pushed her away when she tried to kiss me.

"What are you talking about I am your mate!" Maria stomped her feet in the dirt like a little brat.

I shifted right there. I ran. Just to get away from everything. All I want is Aphmau, but now that's not even possible. Way to go stupid me. I hate myself truly now.

All I want to do is die. There's nothing in this world I need, except Aphmau. But that's clearly not going to happen.

I want to see my son, my baby girl, and the one girl I truly love as my mate. But that's impossible.

I'm impossible.

I'm broken.

Irene please.

Help.

I stopped running and stopped at a river, shifting and putting on some clothes that was behind the tree. "Please!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I crouched over sobbing once more. "Please." I said so little I could barely hear it myself.

Aphmau's POV

"Welcome to your new home." Ein said. He doesn't seem so bad as I thought. Before us was a house so huge it could be a castle.

"Wow," I looked up in awe at the beautiful structure. Ein chuckled at my response. Jacob grabbed my hand from behind me.

He was scared.

But so was I.

...

"Mommy?" Jacob looked at me a little worried. I gave his hand a small squeeze.

"Yes, Jacob?" I smiled.

"I'm nervous and scared." He said.

"It's ok baby I am too." I sated, before adjusting Alina in my arms and walking into the large house.

...

I am too.
