Savannah's POV
"Mom?"
"Savannah Kiera Morgan!"
Here comes the thunder...
"Why aren't you at school?!"
"I was not feeling well so I took an excuse." I said, crossing my fingers behind my back because I doubt if I sounded believable.
"Oh really?"
"Yep-"
"Okay so you wouldn't mind if I called the school then." she said sweetly then resumed back to her yelling face. "Because I will do that right now!"
I didn't want to say something that'll piss her off more than she already is so I went with. "I'm sorry Mom."
"Sorry for yourself." she spat angrily. "Where's your phone?" she dipped her hand into my pocket and took it. "I'm sure it that phone. That phone is the only thing capable of making you act out Savannah. I know I raised your ass better than this." she yelled and I felt worse than I did and I didn't wait for her to send me to my room.
Ugh
I couldn't call Cameron, April nor Hayden because my phone had been ceased. As usual my mom left for work and she probably won't be back for another week but she always prepared a few dishes before she leaves which she did. She also wrote a letter telling me to take care of myself saying she loves me I whispered it back as I read it even if she couldn't hear me. I know she means well but she's just being too harsh and I understand that she's overwhelmed being a single mom and all.
I took a shower which hurt like a bitch due to the marks. I walked to my comfortable bed and sat by the edge wrapped in my towel and before I knew it I slowly drifted off to sleep.

A week later
Ever since that incident I've been closer to Justin and so far so good we're fine due to what happened that night. Cameron has been coming up to me but I've been too angry to acknowledge him. So right now, it's Friday night and the school was mad loud today.
Why? You might ask. April's throwing a party and when I say everybody comes I mean everybody comes.
"So which one do you think I should wear?" April said, twirling while holding two dresses. When it came to fashion she was definitely the one to call, it was like a special talent she had.
"Umm...I don't know." Hayden said.
"What do you mean you don't know. You just have to pick one." April said, glaring at Hayden. "The teal one or the orange one?"
"The teal one," I said to end the argument that was obviously about to start and because the teal one looked way better. It was a short A line dress with a cross back.
"Why thank you Savannah." April said, avoiding eye contact with Hayden.
"You're welcome."
"So firstly we need to get this place ready for the party and there are also a few things we-" she gestured her fingers towards herself, Hayden and I.
"Need to discuss." Hayden interrupted and crossed her legs, giving us her complete attention by finally putting her phone down for the first time since she's gotten here.
"About...?" I asked innocently. I knew exactly what this was about and I was far from ready to have this conversation with them. I couldn't do it- I couldn't. I couldn't grow some balls (not like I need any "balls" anyway.) to tell my best friends that I was attacked by a creature on that so called "date night" also mentioning that it was Cameron's' fault and that's why I've been so distant when he comes to talk is easier said than done.
