Savannah's POV
Saturday
I had a friggin bad headache and to glorify that I felt so weak right now that I couldn't find it in me to move so I started recollecting my thoughts from yesterday.
'Wait...how did I get home?' I looked around and noticed I was in my room. Okay good. I was about to scream after a realization before I peeked beneath the sheets and thankfully I was still fully dressed or should I say clothed.
No, you shouldn't that just sounds weird.
I grabbed the aspirin on the side of my bed along with some water then took it and finally motivated my lazy ass to get up. I took a long hot shower and brushed my teeth and after spending at least thirty minutes in the bathroom I walked out and got changed into a simple dress because what kind of bastard stays home wearing something like jeans instead of sweatpants, shorts, leggings or just a simple dress. Sometimes I'd just stay in a towel all day but then it's disturbing cause I'd have to keep readjusting and readjusting.
I headed downstairs to make myself some breakfast. I spotted my phone on the coffee table under the newspaper and picked it up.
Great hiding spot, Mom.
I heard a sound, causing me to look up and what I met downstairs just ruined my morning...a little.
"Cameron what the hell are you doing here?!"
"You've been avoiding me all week." he stated sadly.
"I'm aware and that doesn't answer my question." I snapped and headed to the kitchen. I grabbed a bowl and turned around to see him standing behind me.
"But why? What'd I do?"
"Are you seriously asking me that?" I was getting pissed at this point and he showed nothing but a sad look and I am NOT falling for that.
"You left me in the middle of the woods! Do you know what I went through that night?!"
"I'm really really sorry about that. My parents..."
"Your parents what?" I shot out a little bit too harshly but I didn't care.
"They needed me home and I was in too much of a hurry to say goodbye. I honestly thought you could get home yourself Savannah."
"That's why you're not supposed to think, you're supposed to know."
"It was urgent but you're right- I didn't know I just assumed and I'm sorry."
"Oh," That was the only thing that could leave my lips. I don't know if he's lying or not so I chose the lather. Family should always come first but he could have at least spared a second to tell me goodbye or we could have left together while he gets off first and I take his jeep, couldn't he come up with that.
"Please forgive me, I'm sorry." Call me crazy but I forgive him. I can't stay mad at him forever. My mind is yelling at me to stop being naive but I pushed all those thoughts down all because of love. No wonder they say love makes you do stupid things.
"I forgive you." I said sincerely.
"You do?" I nodded and he pulled me in for a long hug which I didn't mind. At all.

We hung out just like old times since I forgave him. That's what I love about our friendship, we're comfortable with each other.
