10. And then I felt it

Savannah's POV
"You what?!" I shouted like I was just stabbed in the butt.

"Relax, relax. I'm just kidding sheesh."

"Thank goodness." I sighed in relief.

"Savannah I really don't like this whole friends fighting thing." she said sadly.

"I don't like it either but he brought this upon himself. But like you said we're friends and we can't ruin a friendship that's been so long." I know we would make up but I won't admit it yet and I definitely won't forgive him now. I still have to figure out this Bethany thing, the reason my eyes keep hurting and stuff.

"What does that mean-" she squealed loudly, cashing me to cover my ears. "I'm so happy right now."

"Hello." Hayden said into the phone after swiping to pick up the call.

"Again." she groaned. "Okay Mom I'll be on my way."

After she was done I asked, "Is everything okay?"

"Well kinda."

"Kinda?"

"My mom just nearly burnt down the kitchen again."

"Jeez. She should really work on her baking skills."

"Like she'd listen to me if I told her that." she scoffed, grabbing her purse. "I'll see you at school tomorrow." 

"Byeee Hayden."

And now I'm bored again.

The next day...

"Can anyone here describe an Algae for me?" Mrs Candace asked. The whole class was silent as everyone looked at Marvin, the smartest kid in our class.

"I'm not asking Marvin this time." she said, causing the whole to groan.

I saw Kade, the guy who sat next to Marvin. He asked if Marvin could tell him what the answer was but being the asshole that he is, the guy replied saying, "I actually don't know." Everyone knew he did, Marvin was just really selfish when it came to academics which is pretty stupid to me.

"Savannah." she called.

"What?" My eyes widened.

Oh no please not me.

"Please tell us what it means."

Shit.

"Umm..." My mind began to go crazy, all of my brain cells started scanning to find if they could find a folder with the definition in there or maybe not. It could just be my weird ass imagination.

"An Algae is a plant found in um-" C'mon don't fail me now brain.

"Found in marine habitats which possess chlorophyll for photosynthetic activities." Cameron answered for me.

"Thank you Cameron." Mrs Candace smiled.

The bell rang, signifying that school was over. Today was pretty fast and my insides jumped at the news. I grabbed my school bag and threw it over my shoulder and rushed out of the class. I took the other hall where there were empty class rooms and stuff because people didn't really go there and by taking that path I won't bump into Cameron.
