15: A Full Moon and the Complete Truth

April's POV
"But-" I argued. Why didn't she want me here? It's not like it's the first time I'm staying after a project.

"I said GO." she growled. Her eyes shut and they reopened taking a...grey and golden yellow color. I took a few steps back.

"Savannah. What the hell is going on? If you think those color of contacts were gonna scare me then you are highly mistaken." I said, she growled and I couldn't tell if they was a response to my question. "Savannah please talk to me." I said. This looked way too realistic which scared me because Savannah can't pull a prank for too long cause she would have given herself away as soon as she started her hyena laugh. I took a step towards her. Her nails were dug into her palms, leaving crescent moon shaped injuries in their wake.

What's happening?

It was like she snapped when her arm was raised to scratch me and before I could react, her arm was caught by none other than Cameron.

"April! Get outta here!" With one last glance at Savannah I left.

Cameron's POV
In anger for me preventing her from attacking April, she lunged for me. "Savannah, Savannah!" She kept struggling to get out of my grasp.

Her left leg forcefully kicked mine, knocking me down to the ground. She scratched my chest, tearing the spot in the process. I forcefully pushed her off me and ran downstairs hopefully I could trap her till this is all over.

I waited for her at the end of the stairs and then April came out of the kitchen. "W-what are you still doing here?!" I panicked.

"She's my best friend and I don't know what the fuck is going on but I'm sure as hell not leaving her like th-!" Before she could finish her sentence, Savannah attacked me.

I growled and changed before I pinned her down. "You don't wanna kill me or April." I told her, gesturing to April in the corner with a nod. She used both of her legs to kick me, causing me to fall backwards. She extended her claws ripping my sleeve and simultaneously scratching me. I dug my nails into her arm and pulled her up. "It's the full moon Savannah. It's not you, you need to find a way to balance, anything that ties you down to your human side. You can overcome it, I know you can." Her growling died slowly and her eyes turned back to normal and I slowly let go of her arms.

Savannah's POV
"W-what happened?" I asked as I looked around the room, observing the unusual looks I was getting from April and Cameron.

"You almost killed us." April said as she walked towards us slowly.

"I'm so sorry." I apologized as tear after tear began to fall from my eyes. Cameron and April pulled me into a hug then I knew that we'd survive all the crazy ass things but only together.

Cameron filled April in on the whole werewolf thing and why we fought- well everything. "Cameron you truly are a stupid asshole." she said facepalming herself.

"But I-" he argued.

"Yeah yeah you did it to protect her but she can barely even protect herself from herself now."

"It's okay April. We're past this so now we just have to keep moving forward." I told her. That wasn't how the conversation ended though, we got some good ol scolding from April which must have lasted an hour.

After the enduring of that annoying scolding, I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge as I scanned for anything I could put in my mouth. I found some of the leftover cotton candy ice cream I had in the freezer and threw it into the blender then added some water and some protein milk powder. I took my delicious shake and joined them in the living and they were currently watching happy death day. We got to the part where she escaped then she almost got arrested before the guy in the mask killed the cop while she was handcuffed. Then when we got to the part where he was about to burn her alive I buried my face in Cameron's chest.

Cameron's POV
I smiled as I felt Savannah cuddle up to me to bury her face to my chest, I couldn't help it. She was so beautiful and I wanted her so badly and now I have her. I've always wanted to hold her and kiss her so it's good to know that one thing has been checked off that imaginary wish list.

She said she was trying to avoid looking at the television but she'd end up looking when she raised her head to take a sip out of her shake. Her craving for the shake overcame her fear of the movie which caused me to laugh. "I thought you didn't want to look." I laughed.

"Oh shut up." she rolled her eyes at me playfully. "Want some?" she said, pointing at the cup but before I could reply she put the straw in my mouth. I took a sip and then I understood why she couldn't stop sipping it.

"It's pretty good." I said before my tongue darted out to lick the little part of the drink on my lips.

"Want some April?" I asked her.

"No thanks I don't wanna get lovers drool in my mouth." she smirked.

"More for me." Cameron shrugged and I laughed.

"There's some left in the blender." I said to her and she got up to get some. We watched tons of episodes of friends and then one more movie before we all  fell asleep on the couch.
