14: Loose control

Cameron's POV
Alex busted into the room and I got up as fast as I could but Savannah didn't move an inch.

Damn she's a deep sleeper.

"Our mom is here!" she panicked and my eyes widened. Sure I slept over but never in Savannah's room, especially when her mom was home. I got up in a flash and then stopped.

Wait a minute.

Alex wasn't helping me at all. She wasn't helping me look for where to hide or coming up with ideas with what I should say if her mom came upstairs, she was just standing there so I listened to her heartbeat and discovered that it was beating regularly. She was lying and I mentally face palmed myself for almost falling for it. I jumped back on the bed, put my arms behind my head and leaned back.

"You've got some balls Cameron. I just said our Mom's here." she looked baffled.

"You're lying." I stated straight up.

"How did you even-!"

"Shhh Savannah's gonna wake up." I hushed her which caused her to roll her eyes at me.

"Ugh you suck." she groaned, slamming the door as she left.

"I'm not you!" I yelled back in response which caused her to reopen the door and flash me the middle finger before closing the door again.

"Cameron," Savannah's sleepy voice called. I turned to her and answered with a hum as she was currently yawning and wiping her eyes with her folded pointer.

"Oh you're awake." I smiled at her beautiful face.

How did I get so lucky?

"What was that?" she asked, her voice tired since she just woke up.

"It was just Alex being Alex so nothing to worry about." I assured her. I got up from the bed trying to check if I was forgetting anything.

"You're leaving?" she was sad but she didn't show it. I didn't wanna leave though but I had to.

"Yeah I have to or else my parents are going to be pissed." she nodded. I bent to kiss her lips but it was just a peck. She hummed against my lips and escorted me downstairs.

Savannah's POV
"Bye." I waved goodbye to Cameron and shut the door. Alex has had the tv for the whole day so it's my turn now so in happiness I hopped on the couch. I felt a pillow aiming at me so I raised my hand and caught it, dropping it next to me. I then met some disturbing looking eyes facing me.

"What?"

"Nothing..." April trailed then started doing short claps and I laughed and took a bow while Alex just had her mouth open. I ignored them and put on Shannara chronicles. Eventually Alex fell asleep because she has horrible tv taste then April and I went and stole two of Alex's bags of cheetos from under her bed.

Best day ever.

Cameron's POV
The next day

Today was gonna be a full moon. Savannah's first full moon so I need to be there for her or else she might end up doing something she'll regret. So I decided to text her to remind her. I searched for Sarcastic spazz💖
and saw no results found so  I tried

since I remembered I changed it and got the same results.

Weird.

Then I simply typed in Savannah and then I saw My Savannah oh na na💖 and mentally face palmed. Ever since that Havana song came out she's been obsessed. I called her and talked for a while on the phone before I texted.
