***Jay's P.ov.***
It's been two weeks since Yongguk and Ashley went out on their date. He's been taking her out every night since and she seems happy. We hardly even speak to one another. She cleans during the day and goes out with Yongguk at night. I really can't stand them being together. It makes my blood boil. I did tell Yongguk I didn't care but fuck it, I care, im not saying that I like her but I care enough to warn her about the danger shes gtetting herself into. But she doesn't listen and it's really fustrating. Ashley is really pushing it. I'm tryna help her out and this is how she thanks me? She flipped out and smacked me in the face, I was just trying to warn her about Yongguk. He's not as sweet as she thinks he is. That first night that Yongguk took her out was bad for me. I couldn't sleep one bit. I stood up the whole night waiting for her to come home. It may seem like I'm over reacting but Yongguk really isn't a good guy. I understand that I'm a sex trafficker as well and that I am not anyone to judge anyone else, especially with the things that I have done, however Yongguk is really bad. He and I have known each other for the past 6 years, and he's been apart of the crew for very long. I would never doubt his loyalty to me, but Yongguk isn't someone that I want Ashley to even be around.
FLASHBACK
Walking into the warehouse I can hear a woman's screams. Immediately I am met with the source of the screams. There in the middle of the room stood a tall figure standing over the female.
"What the fuck man" behind me Jackson and Jaebum came in running. Out of all the things that I have done and out of all the things that I have seen, I have never physically witnessed something like this. I looked back at the figure. The woman's face was bloody, it wasn't a pleasant sight. My mind was bought back to reality when her piercing screams filled the room. Jackson and Jaebum were holding the figure back. They both seemed to be struggling. I ran to the wounded woman and picked her up. "Let's go." She felt limp, and fragile. I felt as if any sudden movement I made or any wrong move would break her. I carry her into our interrogation room and sat her in a chair. Looking into the cabinets, I found a towel. I tried to hand it to her but she immediately flinched at my movement.
"Jessi, you know I wouldn't hurt you." She looked up at me. I saw nothing but fear in her eyes.
"I'm sorry Jay," she looks down. "It's a bad habit." I feel so bad for her. This isn't the first time that this has happened. I tell her she needs to leave and I try to get this man help but it never works out. I'm really worried that one day things are gonna go too far.
"Jessie please tell me, what happened," I pleaded.
"Yongguk...he went crazy. But it was my fault. I know I should've known better than to be late. I-I-" she starts sobbing. "He came home drunk, and I didn't have dinner ready, I apologized to him but he just got mad." By now her tears are streaming down her face. I don't understand it. If he beats her multiple times why does she always go back. I don't understand how he constantly beats her but then she still loves him. Does that make sense? I don't know, but I'm definately not allowing this to happen again. I know that I of all people shouldn't really be concerned considering what I do for a living, however, I have never ever put my hands on a female. And I don't plan on it either.
"Jessie, look at me," she picks her head up "your going back to korea."
"Jay NO!" she pleaded.
"Jessie, I'm serious. You can't be around Yongguk, around any of this. Look at you! This isn't the first time he's done this, but you keep forgiving him you-"
"Jay he's going to change."
"Change? You think he's gonna change? When do you think that's gonna happen? After he goes too far and kills you?" She looked at me. "Jessie, please, for your own safety, just go back to korea. Cut all ties with him. Start a new life, get help. Jessie I'm begging you. Please." By this time, my eyes teared up. I really do feel bad for her. She doesn't deserve any of this. She looks me in the eye again. I can tell that she's really pondering on what I'm saying.
"What about Yongguk?"
"Don't worry about him. Just do this for you. You need help, you need some counseling. Jessie please!!!" There was a long moment of silence.
"Okay" I immediately hug her.
"Don't worry about the money and things, I'll take care of your passport, and all cost. Just go home and pack your bags, then head to the airport."
END FLASHBACK
Jessie ended up moving back to korea. This was the last straw. And I let Yongguk know it. I put him threw rehab and counseling. It was a struggle but it definately worked. It's been five years since all of that happened. But to be truthful Yongguk hasn't had a girlfriend since, so I don't trust that he's fully changed. As far as I know he has stopped drinking but that's not enough. I really wish, at least for her own good, that Ashley would at least listen to me, before it's too late.
***Ashley ' P.o.v.***
I'm so happy. Things have been going so well for me. Yongguk asked me to be his girlfriend after the third date. He's been nothing but sweet to me, I feel really good about this one.
