Sane or Insane

THE SECRET ADMIRER

"You came back," Neji said, while giving the raven a bone crushing hug. They stayed in that position even though Sasuke pushes him away.

To everyone, it was a very heartwarming scene because they all glad that the prince came back to school after suddenly stopped coming for unknown reason.

But for Neji, he was so shocked to see the one and only Uchiha Sasuke walking at the hallway earlier, like nothing's happening. Neji even shed tears because he was worried sick for him.

"Hn."

Neji's hands rested on Sasuke's shoulders. He inspected the latter up and down while asking, "You're cool now?" It's not like he didn't know about Sasuke's wellbeing. In fact, he forced Itachi-san to give him updates on his best friend everyday.

"Hn, let me go now before someone starts shipping us both." Sasuke said coolly  while slapping Neji's hands away, that later he wrapped it around him and resting on his shoulder. Sasuke just let it be because Neji wouldn't be listening to him now anyway.

"Not a chance," Neji smirked. In his mind, he's glad that Sasuke finally gets over Naruto's death. He was so afraid that Sasuke might end up choosing to take his own life. "My everyday life was so boring without you in it, silly."

"Hn, you shall not fear anymore because I, the great Uchiha is here to spice up your life." Sasuke flicked his bangs, half joking and serious.

"Fuck, I can't believe you still can say those cringy lines!" Neji spat with so much disgust. "Ew, you're gross for god sake! I thought you already lost it after his death-"

Sasuke's expression changed and Neji regretted the things he said. He stared down to the two pool of coldness, "Sorry man, I didn't mean to mention his death..."

"Yet you did mentioned him. Whatever, it's all in the past now. I've moved on." Sasuke smiled to his friend. He pats his back, telling him to move again instead of being a rock in the middle of the busy crowd.

"Really?" Neji said in confusion, catching up to the latter. Wow, the new Sasuke really amuse him.

"Hn, I've accepted his death now... Aniki was right, even though he died... I'm still here, alive... I should live, and that way, he too will live in my memories." Sasuke said casually, walking ahead of Neji who was dumbfounded at the words he said. Neji saw that Sasuke smiled warmly at him.

He really loved him, so much.

"That's the only thing we all could do now, remembering him in our minds." Sasuke didn't even hesitate when he said that.

"Are you ready to change classes now? The next one is at the lab... what are you doing?" Neji suddenly appeared from the back of their classroom. In his hands are the books for the next class. He thought Sasuke already went there but one of their classmates said otherwise so he came back to the class.

When Sasuke didn't really take any interest in answering his question, Neji sighed. He went closer to Sasuke who turned out was watching cheerleading practice. "Huh, you're interested in those cheerleaders?"
