"Hey did you past all requirements?" He asked me.

"Yah." I nodded and showed him the forms i got when i passed the requirements.

"Right." Sabi nya and show his requirements.

"Mrs, Froom are already in the vacation. I cant pass it on." He said with a sadness invade his voice.

"What! How was that, how can we study Philippine if thats not been pass?" Pagaalala kong tanong sa kanya.

I saw how his face becomes sad. Bumaba iyong balikat nya.

We'd promise, he promise. I promised already na sabay kaming uuwi sa pilipinas at sabay naming tatapusin ang pag aaral doon. Mukhang ako lang yata ang makakagawa nun.

"I already made my decision." Sabi nya and turns back.

"Hey, whats you're decision?" Tanong ko but he keep on walking. I followed him hanggang sa makalabas kami ng paaralan.

I just followed him kahit san sya pumunta. His my best friend. His the one that matters the most.

Hindi sya nagsalita hanggang sa makaupo kami sa bench sa ilalim ng malaking puno in front of a lake. This is the place he always go kapag may dinaramdam syang sama ng loob and even when his frustration, exhausted and desperation gets high and it can't get its expectations.

We view all things together, ga-graduate ng high-school at senior high together. Sa lahat ng bagay magkasama kami. Sa lahat ng pagkakataon sya ang nalalapitan ko. Halos half of our lives, we shared.

The dreams na mag-aral back to the Philippines.

Pero parang malabo nang mangyari yun. My mom already brought me a ticket back to Philippine.

"You're the one who's gonna be back to PH." He said holding tight his requirements. Nagugusot na iyon, baka mapunit nya iyon kapag hindi ko kinuha.

"Don't say that. Tayong dalawa ang uuwi ng Pinas. We promised each other." I said tapping his back.

Tinignan nya ako sa mga mata ko.

"Can't you understand my situation?! I can't afford to go to PH if my papers and requirements where not yet done!" Giit nya. I understand his frustration about this things.

Halos anim na buwan kaming excited na matapos ang senior high dito, para sa Pinas na kami mag college. But here we are stuck in this situation.

"I can't afford to leave you here knowing that this is our dream." He shrugged.

"This is how fate played us. Hindi na ako sasama. I can't be with you." He said and throw the papers away.

Napatayo ako out of frustration to him. There's other way to back to PH. No need him to be like this.

Isa-isa kung pimulot ang mga papel sa lupa.

"Bat kaba nagkakaganyan? There's still other way--" he cut me off.

"There's no!" Matigas na sabi nya.

Napailing ako.

"You promised!" Giit ko.

"Promises made to be broken, dont always trust to my words." Sabi nito and walked out again.

Mabilis ko syang hinabol and grabbed his arms.

"Hanggang kailan mo ba tatalikuran ang problema mo?" I asked.
