“I'll take shower. I'll be fast. Wag kang aalis dito.” Sabi niya at iniwas ako sa loob ng basketball room at umupo naman ako habang mabilis siyang nag-shower.

I looked aroud hanggang makita ko yung mga locker nila, yung mga achievement nila. I'm sure their Coach was very proud to them.

I smile, “I'm proud of you, Lance…” I whisper.

“Who are you're talking to?” I almost jump when Lance poke me. Creasing his face to me. “What did you say?” He asked like he wanted to hear what I was saying.

I did not say.

“Common, Faith… I heard it.” Pangungulit niya and even give me a grin.

“Aren't you saying at me?” He asked frowning. God, His so handsome, plus his red lips, it was really tempting to kiss that freaking lips of him!

“Fine…” I said trying to catch my breath because how he stares at me enough to drown me and take away my breath. “I'm so proud of you, Lance…” I said and obviously look at their achievement. “Now you know?!”

I heard him chuckled. “I already knew it, Faith. All I want is to here it coming from you. It's really worth it.” Sabi niya at ginulo ang buhok ko bago kinuha yung varsity jacket niya.

“We're celebrating the victory.” Sabi niya holding and squeezed my hand upon helping me to climb inside his car.

Feeling ko sasabog ang puso ko sa sobrang saya!

“S—saan tayo pupunta?” I asked looking around kasi kanina pa kami sa gitna ng Edsa at hindi alam kung saan liliko dahil traffic.

“As much as I love going somewhere with you… but I guess Coach will kill me if I didn't attend the victory party.” He said and all of the sudden it show how he was worried.

I smile at him. “It's okay. You know we can attend the victory party. You're the MVP, you're the star there.” I told him.

I saw how his lips rose. “You know, I didn't get attach at being MVP because we are team. We worked everything hard just to get the championship. And being a star? I don't think so. Because for some reason I'm chasing the star. But I don't like to be the star.” He said and smile at me.

His so down to earth. I looked at him with amusement in my eyes.

“H—how do you say that?” I asked.
“Alin?” Tanong niya habang nakatingin sa mga mata ko.

“Ang pagiging down to earth?” I asked and I heard him chuckled.

“I don't know. But I don't depend on the things and fame I got. I don't care for that. As long as I live my life to the fullest.” He said.

Kaya naman biglang natuwa ang puso ko sa sinabi niya They wanted to hug Lance, but I begged myself to stay put at my place.

“Why you didn't like to be the star?” Tanong ko.

I think I wanna heard that from him. Maraming tao ang gustong maging star on their own. How come wala siyang paki sa lahat ng kasikatan na natatamasa niya?

He looked at me. “Why are you so curious?” he asks.

“Because being a star is a pleasure.”
“And being a star is a big pressure.” He said and give me the hint look.

“Common, why don't you like being a star?” pag-uulit ko. Para kasing may malalim pa siyang dahilan bukod dito.

“You're so curious… why?”
