So far the hiking was really fun and very refreshing to my mind, kahit ako yung pinaka-mabagal maglakad, at dalawang beses pa akong nalaglag sa cliff—but small cliff actually. Lance was worrying a lot and here our team teasing him na baka crush ako ni Lance. So he stop worrying instead para hindi na siya asarin, inside me hurt. But who I am to complain?

“Sa pag momove on kailangan mong maglet go, minsan it's okay to move on alone but sometimes you need accompanied.” Aden told to Lance.

“Yeah, Let's wait time to heal you.” Lorene added

I tapped Lance shoulder. He smile at me.

Hindi ko nga namalayan na tatlong araw na pala kami ngayon, we already done visiting the tourist spot at Sagada, and tomorrow our last destination was on Wang-odd. I'm excited to see her, our team was so excited to see Wang-odd, I heard that she's too old but still she's the best. Hindi naman ako mag-papatattoo but deep inside me wants to meet her immediately.

“Guys why so boring?” Aden asked when he got back.

I just got my best to look Lance face who was bury with pain. Now I know how he was really in-pain because of Sasha, he didn't tell how they broke-up but the way he act, it tells a lot.

“OhmyGod! Lets break the coldness, malamig na nga dito!” Lorene beamed and tossed the bottle of beer she was holding. They we're more experienced Aiden and Ramon i think 20 times na silang umakyat ng bundok, while Lorene was this is her 5th time of hiking.

I stood up to get my drink but Lance hold my arms. I looked at him. “I'm going to get drink.” I told him but instead of letting me go, he stood up and got one bottle of beer.

“What the?!” I hissed looking at him.
“You're not allowed to drink, so please let me drink your beer para hindi unfair sa kanila.” He said and look at our team.

“Gosh, Lance are you her father?” Lorene asked him. I shook my head because Lance was being unreasonable for past few days.

“Nahh, how did you say that?” Lance asks.
“Because you acted like a father to her, sometimes a brother, sometimes boyfriend…” Lorene said in between of zipping her beer.

I feel my face become hotter, hindi ko alam kung dahil ba iyong sa apoy ng bonfire o dahil sa sinabi ni Lorene.

Wow, It's a surprise how alcohol affects our mind now.

“Tsk.” Lance said raising his side of upper lip. “She's my best friend. And as a best friend I should protect her.” He said at inakbayan ako. Bigla naman akong kinilabutan sa ginawa ni Lance kaya sinapak ko siya.

He supposed to move on from her ex girlfriend. He shouldn't did that. And not giving water and sunlight to my feeling were I was planted. Ugh! I hate having a crush on him. I hate the fact that his always clearing that were just a best friend, and no other than that.

“Yeah, you say so. You we're kind of best friend, but it shows otherwise.” Aden said and tossed again the beer.

Everyone tossed their beer too except me. The bonfire started to fade the flame and I wish one day my feelings for him would fade also. Habang nilalabanan ko ang sarili ko na wag siyang gustuhin, mas lalong nag-e-eager ang puso ko na gustuhin niya, kahit bawal.

“Okay the night was too long, let's do that spin the bottle, and who else the bottle stop and point at them, they need to pick either truth or dare. If the person can't answer the question nor do the game that person will have 5 shots whisky. Deal?” Ramon suggested.

I raised my hand so he look at me. “We can't afford to get drunk. Tomorrow we're going to Wang odd.”  I said but Ramon chuckled.

“You're really just new here. Aden didn't brief you? We hikers used of it every time. So we can manage it.” He said and I feel offend so I shut up my mouth. His right baguhan palang ako sa hiking thing na to!
