Adym POV
Have you ever just wanted to run away for a day or so...? Yeah, me now.
I crawl out of bed and waddle towards my phone to see I have a message from Amy.
Amy </3
Morning, I'm at college today. Can I see you at like 6? XxI smile slightly and reply.
Me
Good morning to you too :)). Of course, why not? I need to speak to someone first. X----
Me
Meet me at Starbucks now.Nick
Waddup?? Ahh okay. See you in 5 XDI roll my eyes and step into Starbucks. Joining the queue, I look around seeing if I know anyone.
"Adym?" A female voice squeals behind me. I turn around confused to see Chloe behind me.
"Hi?" I smile slightly and look.
"Who won that fight then?" She giggles and swings her arms.
Me of course...
"Why are you bringing that up?" I ask, moving down with the queue. I groan slightly and turn back to her.
"Well my dad saw the fight and wants to get in touch with you." She smiles and hands me a number.
"What does your dad do?" I ask, looking at the paper.
"A few things you wouldn't usually catch yourself doing." She winks and points forward. I move forward and shake my head.
"Why me?" I ask, putting the paper away.
"So many questions..." she giggles. "He was just pleased I guess." She shrugs and checks her face in her phone.
"It was barley a fight. Let's be real Chloe." I chuckle and roll my eyes.
"Even better." She squeals loudly and smiles. "My dad would love for you to work with him." She smiles.
I order my drink and wait for her as she orders. After receiving my drink, I walk to a two seater table and she sits opposite me.
"What does he do?" I ask again. She rolls her eyes and sips her drink.
"He does this secret fighting club thing." She shrugs. "And his mate owns the race track that's like half an hour away. Daddy just told me to find someone who would be good for the job. So I saw you and thought you was perfect for it." She looks up at me through her long eyelashes and blinks multiple times. I cringe slightly at the name and looks at my drink.
"What's in it for me?" I sit back.
"Everyone needs a bit of money every now and then." She shrugs and slurps. I drink some of mine and get my phone out.
"I guess you're right." I speak, going on my messages.
"Plus, it will be more of an excuse for us to hang out." She smiles.
"Hang out?"
No. Let's not.
"Yes, me and you could get to know each other a bit more. All I know so far is you're Ashley's ex and your channel."
I sigh heavily and drink the rest of my drink.
"Just make sure you ring him." She nods and stands up, grabbing her hand bag. I nod and stand up myself. She waves and blows a kiss and she walks out. I check my messages again to see a message from Amy.

I'm going to have to cancel after college. My mum just rang. I have to meet someone 'important.' Sorry. Love you lots xI read the message and walk out of Starbucks.
My phones suddenly knocked out of my hands as I bump into another person. I pick my phone up and look up to see Nick.
"Leaving are we?" He asks, laughing.
I laugh quietly and stand up. "Er- no. I was just looking for you." I lie.
"Ah, what did you want to talk about?" He asks, putting his phone away.
"Oh yeah. Why did you send that video of me fighting to my mum?" I asks
"Me?" He looks confused.
"Yes you. She came in and said Nick sent me the video." I shake my head. "She isn't happy. I fucking lost her car too. I ain't really on her happy side at the moment am i?" I speak.
"Nah. It wasn't me. I promise ya." He shakes his head.
"Sure, whatever. I have to go." I walk past him and walk in the direction of my house.
"Dude, come. Just come and have a drink with me." He shouts down the road.
"I'll pass thank you." I shout back, walking down the road.
------
My index finger is hovering over dial. Should I ring him?
Fuck it.
I press the button and put the phone to my ear. I wait as the phone connects and hear a deep male voice on the line. "Hello?" He asks.
"Hello. It's um, Adym Yorba. Your daughter suggest me to ring you about something you do?" I ask nervously.
"Of course. I've seen the video son. Not so bad. Something over someone so petty. My princess said you could do better also. I think your perfect for next month." I hear him grinning through his voice.
"Whats happening next month?" I ask.
"Didn't she say? There's a fight against Toby Alain, huge man. Great fighter. £1,000 prize. Then, if you win that, it moves up to Gary G, £10,000 prize. Why not?" He explains.
I laugh loudly and sigh. "Do you honestly think I'm going to fight against trained people just for some cash. I'm fine thanks."
"Oh come on Adym, we can train daily and if we start tomorrow, I think you'll be perfect for the fight." He pauses. "If not, you can host the racing track for minimal wage." She chuckles.
"I'll think about it, I just don't think it will be great coming home with battered ankles and a busted lip." I think.
"Just ring me tomorrow morning Adym. I'll have your number saved in my phone. £1,000 isn't bad for you first proper fight. Plenty of training and become a known boxer. Why not?" He chuckles and ends the call.
I slowly pull the phone down from my ear and drop it on the bed. I lean back against the head board and think.
What will Amy think?
Or I just won't tell her,
She doesn't need to know everything. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.
