(Adyms point of view)
When I left Amy's house I ran across the road to home to find my mum and my ex talking on the sofa.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!!!
I slowly crept through the door hoping no one hears me. I jog to the staircase about to run up the stairs when hear my name in the conversation.
"Adym been going through a difficult time." My mum says sweetly
"I don't understand why he is ignoring me" Ashley says harshly.
I tiptoed to the wall that is separating me and them. As I hit the wall the floor board creaked making my mum stop mid speech. Oh God! Oh God! Abort,ABORT!
"Hi honey, how long have you been there?" asked my mum
"Long enough mother" I say leaning against the door frame
"Hiya bab-" she started to say before I interrupted
"Dont babe me, get out." I says glaring at her.
She just shuffles slightly in her seat and looks at my mum.
"I said get the fuck OUT!" I watch her as she rushes out the front room and down the drive way.
"Adym what was that for? That was horrible." My mum says standing up.
"Do you know what she did to me?" I ask walking to her.
"Surely it wasn't that bad, she such a sweet girl."
"Sweet? Are you deluded!" I shout.
-FLASHBACK-
"Baby I have some news." Ashley says walking towards me with a hand behind her back.
"What's the matter?" I ask looking up.
"You're going to be a dad." She says smiling and showing me the pregnancy test.
"Wait what?" I asked confused looking at the test. "This is wrong." I says standing up.
"What do you mean it's wrong. Babe, it's a test." She says looking at it.
"I've used protection every time. I've never forgot." I say quickly.
"N-you must have forgot." She says going pale.
I look up at her face to see she looks guilty of something. I shake it off and look at the test again.
"I'm not ready." I say straight up.
"But I am." She replies.
"You can't k-"
"Don't you dare say it." She says raising her voice.
"I can't be a dad. I don't want to be." I shout.
"Ready for round two b-" My brother Sawyer says while walking through the door.
Ashley turns and glares at him, Sawyer looked shocked and walked out.
"Ashley?" I say turning her around.
