The Mob

The door busts open.

The priests walk in "Where are the Speakers?" the head priest demanded.

"I've put them somewhere safe." Trevor answered.

"You defend evil. Give them to us!" the head priest ordered.

Ruby chuckles "Fat chance, we're not about to let you kill innocent people just so you can please your fucked up bishop."

"Shut up" Trevor muttered.

The head priest scoffs and walks up to his face "What?"

"Shut up. You're not getting the Speakers. You're getting no blood today, so shut up." Trevor replied again.

The priest smacks him but it didn't even hurt. "Weak" Ruby muttered.

"You will give us the Speakers so that we can save this city."

"This city's lost. It was lost when you and rest of your scum moved in."

The priest slaps him again and walks away "And what you and this unpure maiden are here to fight us? You're here to convince the people that nomad black magicians are good for Gresit, and it's the presence of men of god that brought the night hordes upon us."

"You know-"

"Silence look at you. You're a wreck. You stink. You can barely keep your eyes open. I have no words that can fathom your unpure harlot."

Ruby growled at that "I swear the next person who calls me that will be sorry" she muttered having enough with the unpure maiden shit!

"What do you expect to achieve against us?"

They smirked "Absolutely nothing" they replied.

"So you're going to die for nothing? for people you don't know?"

"We don't know any of you, but that doesn't matter does it?" he asked turning his back towards them.

"My family, the family you demonized and excommunicated, has fought and died through generations for this country. We do this thing for the Wallachia and her people. We don't have to know you all. We do it anyway."

"And it's not dying that frightens us." His cape falls to the floor showing his family crest.

"It's never having stood up and fought for you." He turns to them "I am Trevor Belmont of the House of Belmont, and dying has never frighten me."

The head priest chuckles "Good." Him and the other priest walk over to kill him bu Ruby quickly gets behind Trevor as he takes out knifes and throws them at the priest hands.

Only not getting the Head priest.

Running forward he elbows him out of the way. "Ruby!" He exclaimed as the huntress pulls on the rope making the opening close up.

Taking out one of the priest looks at the villagers and brings out his whip.

Grabbing a ax with it he pulls it towards him and then throws it at the wooden cross on the building.

The Villagers all scream in terror as they run away from the giant object.

They looked at it in shock but it was short lived as Ruby and Trevor run away with Trevor holding a torch.

Stopping at alley way Ruby watches as Trevor turns around and kicks one of the front villagers in the face and then throws the torch on the small pool of oil in front of them.

They then started to run gain through the street but arrows coming out of them stopped they ran to a alley for cover.

Suddenly priest with knives and spears started to come. The one eyed priest strikes but they both moved out of the while While Trevor took the one eyed priest and dodging the arrows.

Ruby took the other two.

She deflect their knifes and cut off one of the priest legs and then cut the other in half.

Many would probably think that what she did was shocking, but after she killed Salem for the greater good.

She realizes that the only way to protect the innocent is to kill those who want to destroy everything for their own gain. if she didn't kill Salem, she would've broken out of prison and caused chaos for Remnant again.

She looks at Trevor as he kills one of the priest and cuts off another priest arm and took his spear in mid air.

He throws it at the archer in the back who screamed in pain and accidentally shot his arrow at his fellow archer killing him.

They sighed as they put their weapons away and ran again but unfortunately for them they right into the mob.

"Wrong turn" Ruby said once they saw him.

"There they are!"

Making a run for it, the villagers closer behind them. But as they chased after them the demons grew near.

As they ran pass the church the door opens.

The bishop looks at it "Who's that? are the Speakers dead?" he asked.

A deep demonic voice answered "No."

But because he didn't think of it like that and thought it was one of his priests. "Well, get back out there. The Speakers have to die before the sun goes down." "The Sun is already down." the voice said as it revealed the demon and his six glowing blue eyes and giant teeth.

The other demons who are on the walls growl at him. The bishop glares at the demon "You cannot enter the house of god." he proclaimed.

The demon snarls "God is not here. This is a empty box."

The old man looks in fear as the demons started to surround him but he kept his character "God is in all his churches."

"Your god's love is not unconditional. He does not love us. and He does not love you."

That struct a nerve with the Bishop "I have done his bidding. My life's work is in his name."

"Your life's work makes him puke." The Demon objected.

"I am the Bishop of Gresit!" he exclaimed proudly.

"Your god knows that we wouldn't be here without you." The demon said as the spikes and fur on his back grew bigger. "This is all your fault, isn't it?"

"She was a witch!" he yelled his voice breaking in fear.

The demon couldn't help but feel amused "Lies? in your house of god? No wonder he has abandoned you. But we love you."

The Bishop looks at him in shock "What?!"

The demon walked closer "We love you. We couldn't be here without you." he said as his size is full realize consider a giant to a human.

The demon's hands are gently put around his head "Let me...kiss you." he said.

And that's the last thing the Bishop heard  is his own groans as the demon picks him up and chomps on his head and drank his blood.

His blood pours onto the floor and like if he was being judge the glass murals of god just looked at him with no love whatsoever.

For how can he ever love such a despicable man that does horrible things in his name. And committed a crime that put all of his children at risk.
