Bad First Impression

Throughout the night it was peaceful but unfortunately, time seemed to fly by and before anyone knew it, it was morning, and the couple were scared awake by Ruby's alarm.

Sitting up in fear, Alucard quickly levitates his sword to his side and looked around for the incoming threat.

But saw nothing, he then turns his gaze to where the sound was coming from and saw that it was coming from the strange cube like object that would light up in a array of colors and told the time.

"Goddamnit!" Ruby exclaimed as she slams her fist on the clock and shuts it off.

"What was that infernal thing?" Alucard questioned in irritation.

"That would be my alarm clock." The Huntress groaned in exasperation.

"Well it was certainly alarming." Alucard proclaimed as he stretches his arms above his head.

Ruby groans and grimaces at his pun, "It's too early for jokes Ale."

Alucard looks at her in confusion but shrugs his shoulders.

Getting up, Ruby sighed as gets up and goes into the bathroom and brushes her teeth.

And as she was doing this, Alucard looked at her in bewilderment as he got up and walked over to her to make sense at what she was doing.

And nearly jumped back when he saw the white foam around her mouth.

But he did let out a small yelp which made Ruby looked at him in confusion before she turned her head away to spit into the sink.

"Something wrong?" she questioned.

"What...what are you doing?" he asked as he takes 2 small steps back so he would be at a safe distance.

"Oh, I'm brushing my teeth." Ruby answered.

"Brushing your teeth?" the dhampir repeated and looks down at her shiny red electric toothbrush that was still on.

He then looks back at her with a perplexed look. "Why would you do that and why is that thing shaking?" he questioned.

"Dental hygiene, and it's an electric toothbrush which means that the top moves on its own to help keep my teeth nice and healthy better." Ruby answered.

"Also, I'll be sure to get you one later." She added as she went back to brushing her teeth some more before she spits it out, grabbed a small paper cup from a dispenser and rinsed her mouth out.

With that done she goes under her sink and brings out a big bottle of mouthwash.

Which she of course used and then spit out once she was done.

Wiping her mouth from any excess, the huntress sighs as she enjoys the feeling of having freshly cleaned teeth.

"Alrighty. I'm going to make breakfast." She stated as she walks out of the room.

And while she does that, Alucard took the time to take a morning shower.

Once he was done and dressed, he walks downstairs, and over to Ruby and kisses her neck.

"Good morning beloved." He greeted as he goes into the pantry to take out a glass cup and used it to get some water from the sink to refresh himself.

Sighing at feeling refreshed, he turns his gaze towards Ruby and asked, "Ruby, do you have any tea?"

The huntress hums as she thinks about if she has any tea left, "No. I think I used the rest of it before I left on my mission. But I do have orange juice and apple juice in the fridge."
