High Tolerance

It's been 2 months since Team STAR as Ruby is calling them, left Gresit.

And now staying at a village inn that had a bedroom with four beds, "Alright, I'm going to find something to drink." Trevor stated.

Everyone groans at that "Seriously, you're still a stupid drunk?" Sypha asked.

"Yes. I am. Ruby come on, it's been 2 months. You're now 21."

The Huntress sighs "Fine. A promise is a promise." she muttered.

Alucard looks at the huntress in confusion "What does your age have to do with anything?" he asked.

"Back home, we have a law where you have to be 21 to drink alcohol, if you're not, you'll be arrested for underage drinking."

Both the Speaker and vampire look at her impressed "Once again, you're home sounds amazing." Sypha stated.

Ruby shrugs her shoulders as she left with Trevor.

They returned 5 hours later with a Sober looking Ruby with a passed out drunk Trevor.

"Hey," she greeted and casually plops Trevor on his bed.

Seeing that she wasn't drunk, Sypha asked, "Did you not drink after-all?"

The huntress chuckles "I did. Me and Trevor got into a drinking contest with the whole bar. And I won, and earned this" she replied showing the medium size bag of coins.

"Then how come you're not like him?" Alucard asked gesturing to the shit faced Hunter.

Ruby smirks "Even if it's stereotypical fact, Russians are known as heavy drinkers. And I have a dad that can be shit faced after a 4 day drinking spree and still manages to sober up."

"So I have a high tolerance to alcohol unlike most people."

"Impressive," Alucard declared.

Nodding her head Ruby lays down on her bed, "I'm going to call it a day," Ruby said taking off her boots and cloak.

She gets up and puts her cloak on the bed rest doing so showed her bare shoulder blades that have a black rose tattoo in a circle her name in red elegant cursive  writing.

"Ruby, why do you have your name on your back? did someone burn that on you?" Sypha asked.

"Huh? oh no, this is a tattoo, it's basically permanent paint design that was put on my skin by a needle."

"Why would you do that?" Alucard asked. "Well, it was for a dare from my cousin Yang. I got it a year before I met Trevor. But I took a liking to it...and I don't want to go through with removing it."

"It can be removed? but why do you not want to do it?" Sypha asked.

"There are different ways to remove a tattoo and one way is to cut out a chunk of skin that the tattoo is on." she explained.

She looks away with a cringe look and chuckles nervously "It's not pretty sight once the air makes contact with the open flesh. And that's even with doctors on some occasions, and mine is on my back so it's a horrible incident waiting to happen." she added.

"I see your point," the Speaker and vampire said at the same time.

Yawning Ruby lays down and falls right asleep.

"Good night Sypha" Alucard said calling it a night as well.

"Good night." the Speaker said back.

Time Skip...

When Morning came, everyone was up bright and early, except for Trevor who had a major hangover.

"Feeling OK?" Ruby asked smirking at him.

"How come, you're not in pain?" he asked.

"Stereotypical fact, Russians are known as heavy drinkers, and I have a father that can go on a 4 day drinking spree and still manages to sober up. So I have a high tolerance."

Trevor frowns at her "I hate you right now. That's no fair!" he grumbled.

The huntress pats his hair "Life isn't fair sweetie."

Turning around she walks out to find some food and came back with four plates of eggs, bread, chicken.

Everyone looked at her in shock for the point that she was balancing one plate on her head, her left hand was holding one plate, while the right was holding two.

"What?" she asked as she hands one plate to Sypha, and then handed the plate on her head to Trevor.

The gave the other one to Alucard.

"How were you even able to do that?" Sypha asked.

"Practice, I use to help my friend Tiana at this little restaurant, and since we were his best help, the cook would just through us the food, so we had to be quick to catch them." she explained.

"Restaurant? is that like a bar?" Alucard asked.

"Yep. But unlike bars here, a restaurant sells food and they have a small amount of alcoholic drinks. Mainly since a restaurant can be a family outing so kids are allowed in it."

"Trevor eat, that'll calm down your head ache, it helps me dad." Ruby said to the hunter.

Groaning Trevor eats his meal and by the time he finished everyone else was already done and waiting for him to finish.

Blinking, he realized that he felt better "It actually work." he said impressed.

He looks at Ruby and thanks her.

Once they returned the plates they went on their way.

But Alucard was keeping his eyes on Ruby, for the little fact for the pass 2 months, she's been getting up at the middle of the night and walking away to somewhere else.

If she does it again, he'll follow her this time.
