True Colors

Ruby sighed as she feels safe and secure in Alucard's warm embrace while they both sleep soundly in bed.

It has been 2 weeks since the misunderstanding with Taka falling on her. And while Ruby was annoyed at the situation, she was happy that her relationship with Alucard only got stronger as a result.

But it also made Ruby more aware of every little action that Taka and Sumi do.

They still act the same sure, but now more times than she could count she could see cracks in their nice exterior especially when they were near Alucard and she knows for a fact that they thought that she didn't notice them.

Well they were wrong.

Which is why for once the Huntress took Salem's advice and convinced Alucard to let her move in into his room.

Of course, she didn't give him the real reason since she wants to be 100% sure that she has all the facts right before she starts making the accusation that the vampire hunters were trying to purposely separate them.

And so, as far as the dhampir knows the only reason she wanted to move in was because of the fact that they were a couple and that she was starting to get lonely with sleeping alone in her bed.

And it was the best choice she has ever made, especially since Alucard is surprisingly warm and cuddly and as a bonus he is a light sleeper.

Which means that if there is a chance that she didn't imagine that kiss on her neck, Taka has no way of doing it again since it'll wake up the dhampir.

But of course, their happy moment had to be ruined by the light of the sun shining down through Alucard's window and woke the dhampir up.

Opening his eyes Alucard groaned as he turns his head to look at the big round mechanical clock that Ruby made and had pinned to the wall.

And the clock read that it was 9:30. The dhampir groans when he saw that he had overslept, he usually wakes up around 9:00 so he could make breakfast.

And so, with that not wanting to waste anymore time he started to get up be he soon realized that there was obstacle in his way.

And that obstacle was Ruby, who was holding on to him tight. "No, stay." She grumbled and nuzzles her head into his chest.

"Ruby, it's already pass 9:00, I need to get up and make breakfast." Alucard said trying to reason with her.

"No. Stay, sleep with me. Taka and Sumi can make breakfast by themselves." Ruby stated and tightened her hold.

"But they are our guest. It's only right that I make breakfast."

Groaning in annoyance at the Dhampir's persistence at getting up, Ruby finally opened her eyes and looked at her boyfriend.

And at first, she just looked up at him with a tired and annoyed look but she as she started to wake up fully her expression soon became mischievous.

"Oh, come on Alucard. Stay with me." She whined playfully.

"Ruby, I told you I need to get—" before the dhampir could even finish his sentence he was silenced by the Huntress kissing him.

And of course, Alucard was shocked at first but he soon melted into the kiss and grabbed her gently by the back of the head to deepen the kiss.

But as the seconds ticked by their kiss became more passionate as Ruby moves so she could be laying right on top of him and she did this without even breaking the kiss.

But a minute she finally broke it but instead of stopping she started to kiss and suck Alucard's neck, "Come on, Alucard. What's the matter? Don't you want to stay in bed with me?" she questioned in an alluring tone.
