A half hour later after venting her frustrations out on the forest the huntress takes in the damage and estimated that she destroyed up to 34 trees.

And she also noticed that the local forest life was nowhere in sight, she did not even hear the sound of the crickets. It was dead silent.

The animals must have run away and kept their distance when she started her rampage.

The Huntress let's out an exasperated sigh and rubs the bridge of her nose. "I hate my life." She muttered.

"You shouldn't say that." Alucard said appearing behind her out of the blue.

The Huntress yelps in surprise and jumps away from the Dhampir.

She sighs in relief when she saw it was him and placed her hand over her fast beating heart to calm it down.

"Alucard! Don't scare me like that. And what are you doing here?"

"I came looking for you. It is dark now and while I am sure that you can deal with the creatures of the night. You should still come back inside." He stated.

"Besides, it's hard to sleep with the trees falling to the ground while someone is screaming like a banshee. I'm quite sure that the village that's just north of here could hear you." He added with a smirk.

Which was funny when you take it in consideration that the way to said village is 5 hours away on foot.

"Haha, very funny." Ruby said sarcastically.

She then frowns, "Also, I'm sorry about walking in on you." She said.

Alucard lightly shrugs his shoulders, "Don't worry, it makes us even." He stated.

He then looks away from her for a moment before saying, "Also, I'm sorry about my inappropriate behavior." He stated.

Ruby sighed and looks at the night sky, she wanted to avoid the whole thing, but she knows that things will only get more awkward if they do not work this out.

"It's fine Alucard, besides at least I know you find me attractive." She said jokingly.

"Of course I find you attractive, you are the most stunning woman that I had the pleasure of meeting. And if someone says otherwise then they're an utter fool." Alucard stated.

Turning a few shades darker Ruby lightly chuckles at that. "Thanks, I guess."

"You're not half bad yourself." She added.

Alucard just smirks at that. "Of course, I am. Vampires are known for their eternal beauty after all." he said haughty tone and even did a hair flick to emphasize.

Unable to control her amusement, Ruby busted out laughing and after a minute calmed down and said. "Not all of them."

"That's true. But that's because they were turned later in life." Alucard stated.

Ruby tilts her head in curiosity when she remembers about something she read about vampirism in the Belmont Hold. "Speaking of being turned, I read in a book that you need a vampire's blood in order to turn into a vampire is that true?"

"Yes. against popular belief, a single bite from a vampire does not immediately turn you. If that was the case, then vampires would've been constantly looking for pets left and right to the point that my father's murder-suicide endeavor would not have been necessary." Alucard answered.

He looks at her in confusion, "Why do you want know?" he asked.

The Huntress shrugs her shoulders, "I was curious. Besides, sure, the Belmont Hold is...very handy in terms of knowledge but who says that there is something in there that they don't know or misinterpreted? So, hearing it from you, the dhampir son of Dracula is my way to know what I'm reading is the real deal." She explained.
