What's the worse that could happen?

After getting over her embarrassment, Ruby gets dressed and makes her way to the kitchen and was met with Alucard making breakfast.

Which she found odd since he should have been done by now since she stayed in the bathroom for 2 hours.

Especially since the food he was making was just oatmeal with blueberries, and already baked bread with cheese. Something should have taken about a half hour too cook. What was he doing during that time?

The dhampir stopped for a moment and tilts his head up and sniffs the air mainly since the heavenly scent that the Huntress has seemed to be stronger for some reason.

He wanted to look at the huntress and asked her if she has been using some perfume or something but with the memory about what happened the dhampir blushed in shame and went back to making the food while Ruby just sat at the table and waited.

Once he was done, he sets the food down in front of her which was oatmeal with blueberries, and bread with cheese.

Going to the other side of the table to eat his own food, but he really could not enjoy it since the huntress's scent was the only thing he could smell.

He tried to ignore it and just pay attention to the smell of his food, but the smell was overwhelming his senses.

And even though his face was calm he was in fact trying to control his breathing and control the sudden urge to have his fangs bite into something.

After 9 minutes he finally had enough and asked, "Ruby, did you put on Perfume?" he asked.

The Huntress stops eating and swallowed her food.

She looks at the dhampir in bewilderment, Perfume? Why would he think that she put on perfume?

"No, why?" she asked.

"It's nothing...it's just your scent seems stronger than before." Alucard admitted.

Blinking in confusion the huntress sniffs her arm and could only smell her soap. But then That's when it hit her on what he smelled. "It might be my soap; it's made out of Ylang-Ylang blossoms." She answered.

Alucard raised an eyebrow at that, Ylang-Ylang blossoms? He has never heard of that type of flower before.

"What are Ylang-Ylang blossoms?" he questioned.

"It's a tropical flower that grows on trees. It's a very popular fragrance for people back home to use mainly because of its sweet and intoxicating smell. But mine is a special blend that I made myself." The huntress answered.

The dhampir held back a groan when he heard that the flowers fragrance was sweet and intoxicating, and in his opinion, they are too intoxicating for his liking.

He does not know what's wrong with him, it was like his mind becomes foggy whenever he smells it. Which makes him wonder if vampires have an unknown weakness to Ylang-Ylang blossoms?

Like it does it dumb their senses or something? Or is it because of his attraction to her, he subconsciously finds the huntress's already pleasant scent exhilarating when mixed with the flowers.

And to be sure he will have to get his hands on the soap later and see if it still has the same effect on him on its own.

And he dearly hopes it is the first option, he does not know what he'll do if it is the latter.

Ruby then tilts her head, "It doesn't smell bad to vampires does it?"

"No. It smells, delectable." The dhampir said before he could catch himself.
