I blushed as I thought about it.

Why would he save me? I'm just a nobody...

"We're here." He said, throwing me back into reality.

"Oh, um... thanks." I replied, and was about to walk into class. I looked through the window.

I'm early?

"...Wait," He said. "What's your name?"

I couldn't say Ivy, then he'd realize I'm a girl. And nobody here needs to know my identity.

"I'm... Poison." I replied.

"Nice name. I'm Ace." He smiled. "I gotta go now. See ya!" He waved, and darted off in the opposite direction.

"Bye," I waved, and walked into class.

"Poison, you're early!" said the math teacher.

I nodded. "Can I get to work?" I asked.

"Sure. Copy notes from page 241 in your math notebook." said my teacher.

I sat at the very back of the class, and soon, students started to pour in. A girl with orange short hair and green eyes sat next to me, wearing a green and blue ruffled dress, and blue flats. She smiled and waved. I waved back. Class started.

"Okay, so today, we are going to use our textbooks. Please take out the math textbook, and turn to page... 241," she smiled. "Copy down the key details."

I pulled out my notebook and a mechanical pencil, then I began to copy notes down. Once everyone was done, she began teaching. Eventually, class was over. I picked up my textbooks and notebooks and brought them over to my locker.

"6, 21, 14. " I mumbled to myself. Once I turned it the correct locker combinations, the door popped open. I placed my books carefully in the locker.

"Hi," said a voice behind me. I turned to see who it was. It was that girl in class with the short orange hair and green eyes. "I'm Kate." she smiled.

"I'm Poison." I replied. I pulled out a few Social Studies textbooks, and closed my locker door.

"Interesting. So..." she stared at me.

"W-what?" I asked, a bit embarrassed, since I don't like to be stared at. Yet, it can't be helped. I do cover my face, after all.

"I wanna know more about you!" she grinned.

I shook my head. "I'm not all that interesting."

"Aww, please?" begged Kate.

"Fine, fine. Whatever." I replied in annoyance.

"Yay!" she smiled happily.

"Shh. So listen here. My favorite color is black. I like being alone. And I have no friends whatsoever. There, now you know enough about me." I told her.

"I-I can be your friend," suggested Kate.

"Meh." I shrugged my shoulders.

I walked off to Social Studies. I thought she would be a little more considerate of my privacy. But, I also feel lonely...
