I held the knife close to my neck.
Maybe I should end it here... Right now...
I pressed it closer to my neck. I felt a bit of blood trickle down my neck.
"Ivy! No!" my sister, Lily, ran into my bedroom, screaming, and crying. The knife fell out of my hand. "Don't go... please..." she mumbled, and sniffed.
"H-how did you..." I asked, but she interrupted.
"I-I just knew... it's a sister thing, you know...?" She replied, and looked up at me, with a forced smile, and tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I just..." I trailed off.
It was quiet. I hugged her, as she sobbed into my shirt. Once she was finished, my shirt was soaked. She kicked the knife under the bed.
"...Think before... you pull it out again..." she sniffed. "I'm
staying in here."
"B-but..." I started.
"I don't care..." She stated, and laid in my bed. "Goodnight, Ivy..." she said silently, and turned over while covering herself in the huge blanket. I laid down next to her.
Sigh...
