The Outsiders Go Back To The Future

Chapter 2

Alexandrea's POV:

"Hey Johnny, what happened, and who's this?" He asked looking at me.
"The socs tried drowning you and I have no idea who this is, but she saved your life." Johnny replied shakily. He seemed pretty spooked, I then decided I should speak up.

"I'm Alexandrea, but you can call me Alex."
"Well Alex, thank you for saving me. I'm Ponyboy and this here is Johnny." He said gesturing to the dark haired boy, he looked a lot like the original Karate Kid. Ponyboy had reddish brown hair.

"You're welcome." I say. Then it dons on me. "I'm in The Outsiders." I whisper to myself then just sit there shocked.
"Huh?" Ponyboy asks.

"I have to go." I exclaim as I run to the car.
I jump in and start the car hurriedly leaving the boys baffled.

The car sputters and refuses the turn on like it did to Marty when he was trying to leave 1955. I suddenly remember the knife in the fuel line.

"Oh man!" I yell as I jump out of the car and yank the knife from the side.
"Are you okay?" Pony boy asks as him and Johnny run up to me.

"No, I am not okay." I start to pace and raise my voice.
"I don't know what to do, I don't know how to get home, and I don't know when I mmpht." Pony boy clapped his hand over my mouth.

"Jeez are you crazy, you'll wake up the whole town!" Ponyboy whisper yelled while Johnny still looked rattled. They he slowly removed his hand from our mouth.
"I'm dreaming I have to be dreaming!" I exclaim in a daze. We then here a car revving.

"Johnny they're back, what do we do?"
"Can you drive us to his house?" Johnny asks. "I'll try." I nod then get in the drivers seat.

"There's no back seat so you will have to double-buckle." I hurry. After we we're all three in, I try turning the key again and it starts. We then use what little is left of the fuel to get to Pony's house.

"Come on in, the more the merrier and I need protection from my brothers!" I shrug at what Pony says and followed him along with Johnny. We walked through the screen door to see Soda and Darry on the couch looking super worried.

"Ponyboy, you're back! Why are you drenched?!" Soda said.
"Pony, I'm so sorry!" Darry apologized.
"Who's the girl?" Soda asked.
"I'm Alexandrea, but you can call me Alex." I nod.
"How old are ya?" Soda asked. I am very short for my age at a whopping height of 5'1". I am often mistaken for a twelve year old.
"I'm 16." I glance around the room for the rest of the gang.
"Woah, your shorter that Johnnycakes here! I thought you were thirteen!" Soda exclaims slapping his hand down on Johnny's shoulder making him flinch.

"Never seen you around here before, where ya staying?" Darry asks.
"I have no idea, my fuel line got punctured and I wasn't planning on staying anywhere." I look up at him. I glance over at Johnny to see him looking down.
"How'd it get punctured?" Soda asked. I didn't know how to respond when Johnny started talking really quiet.

"I did it, it was an accident tho. The socs were drowning Pony so I ran towards them with my blade and then their car jumped out infront of me. The socs scattered when they saw the car and Alex here saved Pony's life." He said gesturing to me.

"Thank you for helping our friend and our little brother! I don't know what we'd do with out em." Soda said while Darry looked like he was thinking.
"Why don't you stay the night here? You can have the guest room that no one uses and tomorrow Soda and our bud
Steve can take you to the DX to fix your car." Darry asked.

"Are you sure?" I ask feeling bad. "I can get a hotel."
"Sure, it wouldn't be a problem! By the way, whats Jurassic Park?" Pony asked. I look down to see that I am wearing one of my Jurassic Park shirts.

"Oh...ah... um...It's a movie." I state still looking down.
"Really? I've never heard of it." Pony pushes.
"It's a pretty old movie, a lot of people our age haven't seen it." I try not to lie.
"So where are you from?" Johnny asks.

"I'm from far away." I say, it's the truth if your talking about time.
"How far?" Pony asks.
"Really far!" I exclaim.

"Well I bet you're tired. Better get some sleep, we'll be getting up early tomorrow to get to the DX on time!" Soda yawns. He then leads me to the guest room while Johnny crashed on the couch.

Today was crazy, I just hope nothing else is wrong with the DeLorean besides the fuel line!
