The Outsiders Go Back To The Future

Chapter 5

Alex's POV:

While Pony is upstairs and the other boys are huddled around Darry fixing Johnny, I run outside to cool off.

I can't believe this happened. After I scared off the Socs and saved Pony, I thought that Johnny and Dally would be fine.

Johnny is my favorite character and even though he's tough and tuff, I believe that deep down, Dally is a softie.
I decide to try and find Bucks to see if Dally is okay.

Once I get to Bucks, I have no idea what to do. I'm terrified. In the movie this place looks bad but now, it feels like anything and everything bad could happen to me here.
I really hope Dally's here. What if he already went to jail or died? I knock on the door and wait until it opens revealing Buck with a bottle in his hand.

"What do you want? He glares at me.
"Is Dallas Winston here? I need to speak to him." I gulp barely getting the words out.

"What would a little girl like you want with a guy like Dallas Winston?" He looks down at me.
"I just need to talk to him, it's an emergency." I try standing up straight.
"Fine, up the stairs, second door to the right." He turns around.
"Thank you!" I nod before going towards the stairs. It really stinks here. I can barely see through the fog of smoke. There are drunk people passed out and partying everywhere. If Dally has a girl in his room, I'm going to throw up.

Once I get to the door, I decide the best thing to do is to knock.
"Dallas!" I say after knocking three times.
"What?" The door swings open revealing a shirtless Dally like when Pony and Johnny came here in the movie.
"Oh good, your okay." I sigh.
"What do you mean?" He looks at me funny.
"Johnny got jumped really bad so I came to get you."

"Oh man, lets go." He slips on a shirt and a jacket. Once we get outside, he heads over to his car. I just stand still in front of the side of it.
"Hop in." He look at me like I'm an idiot.
"No way, I know how you drive Dallas Winston, I'm walking." I turn around to see the socs fancy car from the other night.
"On second thought, I do like rollercoaster." I say before getting in his car. This is probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made.

I hear the socs engine rev before Dally starts his car.
"Go go go!" I yell hitting his arm. The socs car is rushing towards us. Once on the road, we drive all over town trying to ditch the socs.

I've never been in a car chase and I thought they were intense in movies, this is one of the scariest things I've ever done, especially with Dally driving.
