chapter one - introductions

Hey there. I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself before we get this ball rolling. My name is Venus, but everyone calls me Vee. I guess you can say I'm quite the adventurer. I've always gotten in trouble for being in places I'm not supposed to. I guess this is the energy that drove me to becoming really good friends with Jay. I was actually pretty close to all the VK's (villain kids). Mal and Evie were really nice and easy to hang out with. Carlos and Jay always made everything a great time. They were the four original kids from the Isle invited to Auradon Prep. Oh, how things have changed. We're awaiting the arrival of a few more VK's as we speak. Who's coming, you ask? From what I've heard, we should be expecting a few really young kids, but also the son of Hook. Harry Hook, I think his name is. I know him and Mal have some ancient history, so this may be a bit of a challenge for her. I was excited to get to meet everyone, considering the fact that I was a fan of the proclamation when it was first given. So many of these kids have no bad intentions and sincerely want to have a better life. Ben is giving them the opportunity to have that chance.
