Things were getting really hectic with homecoming around the corner. When I had initially agreed to help Jane, I didn't realize how much work it would actually be. I was already struggling with the workload from my astronomy and calculus classes, and Jane's homecoming assignments just made everything so overwhelming. I had seen very little of Harry in the past couple of weeks because I was either studying or doing purchase orders for Jane. I'd missed Harry's first fencing game, which he was rightfully upset with me about.

I sat in my room, yelling into my phone. "No, it was blue streamers. Why on earth would I order brown?" I groaned. I looked up as Harry walked into my room with a smile. I motioned for him to wait a second before turning back around. "If the streamers get here and they're brown, you'll be hearing from me." I said angrily, hanging up the phone and turning to Harry. "Hey, babe. Sorry about that." I sighed, rubbing at my temples. "You're cute when you're all worried." he smirked, making me laugh. Harry had this ability to make everything go away.

"Let me take you out." he said, walking up to me and rubbing my bottom lip with his thumb. "I have so much to do for Jane, and I have that chem test coming up." I sighed, shaking my head. "Take a break. You deserve it." he said, taking my hands in his and kissing the top of my head. "I'm just so overwhelmed. It's like I do all these things and nothing turns out right. Half of the orders are wrong, I have no idea what I'm doing in calculus, and I haven't hung out with my friends in so long." I mumbled, the tears welling up in my eyes. Harry sighed and hugged me tightly. "Come here." he whispered, rubbing my back. "And now I look like a fucking mess. I promise, I can handle my life better than it seems." I groaned.

"You know, it's okay to cry." he noted, pressing small kisses to the top of my head. "I don't want to seem weak. You don't deserve someone weak." I mumbled, sniffling and looking up at him. He wiped away my tears and smiled, pecking my lips lightly. "You're tough as nails, what are you talking about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and making me giggle.  "I don't know what I did to deserve you." I admitted, biting my lip. "Come on, let's escape for a while." he said, intertwining his fingers with mine. I followed him out of the dorms and towards the gym area. "What are we doing?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "You'll see." he smirked, leading the way.

We got to a pair of doors, and he opened them to reveal a circular room lined with padding. "Is this where you do your fencing stuff?" I asked, looking around. "Yeah. This is where the magic happens." he said, putting his hands in his pockets. "Why did you bring me here?" I asked, looking back at him. He smiled mischievously and grabbed two swords, passing one to me. "I thought it would be good for you to let off some steam." he said, holding up his sword. I laughed and copied his stance. "I'm not very athletic." I admitted. He shrugged and smiled, lightly tapping the tip of my sword. "Ready?" he wondered.

I nodded, and we began to exchange sword hits. I giggled and ran away from his sword, dodging him as best I could. "This isn't tag." he laughed, tapping my side with the sword and prompting my endless laughter. I put my sword down to my side and walked up to him, kissing him passionately. He kissed me back, taking my face in his hand. I took the opportunity to swipe his legs with my sword as he was distracted, making him smile into the kiss. "Sneaky. I like it." he smirked, grabbing me and throwing me over his shoulder. "Put me down!" I yelled, laughing hysterically.

"Make me." he challenged, running around the room. I playfully smacked at his back and kicked my legs in attempts to get him to put me down. "Harry!" I pleaded, struggling to breathe in between my laughter. He joined my laughs and set me down. "Go to homecoming with me." he murmured, kissing me softly. "Sorry, already have a date." I joked, pressing my arms against his chest and looking up at him. "Mmm, too bad you're already mine. They need to find a new date." he smirked, playing along. "I think that can be arranged." I giggled, pressing soft kisses all over his face, making him laugh. Harry had this ability to make me feel so carefree and happy.

We put the swords away and walked over to Evie's room to ask her if she'd be able to make us something to wear for homecoming. Her door was wide open, and she had racks of different colored dresses and suits hung. "I see you're quite busy." I smiled, hugging her quickly from behind. "Hey Vee, just finishing up some dresses for homecoming. Did you want me to make one for you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "If you can? And maybe something for my man over there." I winked. Her eyes widened and she smiled widely. "It finally happened! Congrats you two." she laughed, turning back to the sewing machine.

"Let me finish up this dress and I'll take your measurements." she said, turning to Harry. He smiled and nodded appreciatively, taking a seat with me at the edge of her bed. I laid my head on his shoulder and he kissed the top of my head. "So, when did this happen?" she asked, leaning over the fabric on the table. "The day I came to talk to you. I know it's been radio silence with me lately. Jane has got me on a hundred things for homecoming next week." I sighed, shaking my head. "Jane can be a little overwhelming. Carlos said she's losing her mind." said Evie with a small laugh. "I think she should have more people helping her, but it's hard for her because she has a vision in her head of what she wants everything to look like." I explained, crossing my arms.

Evie stood from her chair and grabbed her measuring tape. "Let's go." she motioned. Harry stood from his spot next to me and hopped onto her podium. She began measuring the dimensions she needed to make his suit. "So, are you happy?" she asked him, leaning over and measuring his leg. "Very much so." he nodded, smiling in my direction. "How's Jay treating you?" she asked, wrapping the tape around his bicep. "We've worked through a lot of things, he's much less hostile." Harry admitted. She nodded and smiled as she finished up her measurements. "Glad to hear it. He's so stubborn sometimes." she shook her head. "Well, you're all set. I'll let you know when they're ready." she smiled. "I love you so much, Eves." I laughed, hugging her goodbye. "I'd be so lost without you." I continued. "You're my muse." she joked, waving as we walked back to my room. We got to my door and I turned to face Harry. "See you tomorrow?" he asked, rubbing my arm.  "Stay the night. Please." I mumbled, biting my lip. "Your wish is my command." he replied, kissing me softly and following me inside.
