I smiled widely as the wheels of the plane touched the ground. We were finally back home, well, my home at least. Harry was knocked out on my shoulder, and I kissed the top of his head to wake him up. He groaned as his eyes fluttered open, yawning and stretching his arms. "We're here?" he asked, blinking sleepily. I giggled and nodded, kissing his cheek. "We are here." I mumbled, unbuckling my seatbelt. We gathered our things before hopping out of the plane and meeting the driver that would be taking us to the palace. After our suitcases were loaded in the car and ready to go, we took or seats in the back of the SUV and were off.

Harry had my hand in his, playing with my fingers nervously. "Babe, don't worry. They'll love you." I said, lightly pushing his chin towards me and connecting our lips. He smiled shyly as we pulled away, shaking his head. "I hope so." he admitted, looking out at the window. We drove past the small homes and markets as we approached the center of the kingdom and the castle. We drove up to the gates, making me squeal in anticipation. Honestly, I was really happy to be home. I loved Auradon, and sometimes my parents were a little much, but coming home was always such a relief. We drove up to the front doors of the castle where my parents were waiting. Once the car was stopped, I immediately darted out of the car and embraced them.

"Mom, dad! You guys look so good." I giggled, pulling away from the hug. "As do you, honey." said Mom, smiling widely. Harry closed the car door behind him and smiled shyly, shaking my dad's hand. "Thanks for having me." said Harry with a shy smile. "Of course. Any friend of Vee's is always welcome here." said Mom, wrapping her arms around him. He laughed in surprise and hugged her back. We all headed inside to eat lunch. I immediately shrieked when I saw Luna at the table with Fernando. "Lulu!" I yelled, wrapping my arms around her from behind the chair. "Jesus Vee, you'll choke me." she giggled, standing from the chair and hugging me tightly. I motioned in Harry's direction with a smile. "This is Harry. Harry, this is my sister Luna and her fiancée Fernando." I said, pointing to each of them.

Harry waved sheepishly, making Luna laugh to herself. "Boyfriend?" she whispered, raising an eyebrow. I blushed and nodded, making her roll her eyes and laugh. "I need you to tell me everything." she squealed. "I'll tell you later." I giggled, taking a seat with Harry at the table. Mom sat at the head of the table as we all began to eat our food. It was really delicious, and I realized how much I missed the food at home. "So, when do we leave to the beach?" I asked, taking a bite of my pasta. "We were thinking tonight would be good." said Dad, scratching the back of his neck. "Sounds good." I nodded, taking a drink of my water.

We finished our lunch and I decided to give Harry a tour of the castle while we waited to leave. He followed behind me as I showed him the grounds, walked through the long hallways, and eventually showed him my room. He smiled as he walked around my room, examining everything. "It's very pink." he laughed, looking over at me. I shrugged and laughed. "I'm rarely ever here. I stay in Auradon most of the time and never really updated the decorations from when I was little." I shrugged, sitting on the edge of my bed. He plopped down next to me, taking my hand and kissing my knuckles softly. "Thanks for bringing me here." he whispered. I shook my head and smiled, wrapping my arm around him and kissing him.

Harry and I sat out in the sand, watching the sun as it set below the horizon. I leaned my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep. I woke up later to quick zipping sounds, and I opened my eyes to see Harry packing his things. I had fallen asleep, and he had carried me back to our hotel room. It took me a second to process what was happening, but I immediately sat up and rubbed at my eyes sleepily. "Babe, what are you doing?" I asked, stretching my arms over my head and yawning. He shot up from his suitcase quickly, running his hands through his hair nervously.

"I-I don't belong here." he said quickly, throwing his bag over his shoulder. "Harry, what are you talking about?" I said, jumping out of bed. "This world, this isn't me. This is your family and they love you. I don't deserve this. I'm going back to the Isle." he muttered, looking down at the floor with a frown. "Harry, just stop." I groaned, grabbing his arm. "No! Look, we have something great, but you deserve better. I can't give you any of this." he stressed, motioning to the environment around us. "Harry, how many times do I have to tell you that you're all I need?" I asked, reaching for his hand and squeezing it. "What if I don't want this?" he asked, letting go of my hand and shaking this head.

"What?" I asked, tears forming as I realized what he was saying. "I tried to fit in, and I'm just too different. I can't do this anymore." he said, voice cracking. I sniffled and turned around, wrapping my arms around myself. "Y-you love me Harry. Don't act like you don't." I gasped, pacing up and down the room. "Of course I love you, Vee. It's why I can't do this anymore. You deserve someone who can give you a life you deserve." he yelled, a tear falling from his eye. I whimpered as I slid down to the floor, trying not to hyperventilate. "If you walk away everything will fall apart." I mumbled, my shoulders shaking as I attempted to hold in my sobs. "Vee, please. I don't want to hurt you." he said, putting down his bag and sitting down on the floor next to me.

I shrunk into his chest, whimpering as I cried. I couldn't find the words to tell him to stay, I was crying too hard. I was scared this trip would overwhelm him. A part of me knew that it would be way too much for him. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me as I cried against his frame. "I'm so sorry Vee, This is just a lot, it's scary. I've never had someone love me, I've never had a group of people that support me, I've never even had something that I was good at. I love you and this is all so new, I-I just got scared. I'm sorry, love." he whispered, pressing kisses to the top of my head. I hiccuped as I hid my face in his neck. "Please d-don't leave me." I said shakily, wiping away at my tears. He rubbed my back and nodded, sniffling and kissing my forehead.
