"Well?" Jay said looking at Evie. She rolled her eyes, the blush on her cheeks fading.
"This is dumb." Evie said standing up. She led me away from the boys so we were sitting in separate groups.
"Evie you totally just dogged his question." I said and Evie rolled her eyes. Suddenly they heard a small terrified voice coming from the tube which allowed you to communicate with those below. I knew exactly who it was, the only other person on the isle I trust and don't think is a total loser.
"Jay that's Uma can you let her up?" I said and he nodded. Soon I saw her head bouncing up the stairs and her small teal braids hanging down to her feet.
"Evie, Carlos, this is Uma, she's Ursala's daughter I hope you don't mind me and Jay inviting her." I said and she smiled and waved confidently. Evie shrugged and smiled at her.
"Anyone's welcome as long as we all know." Carlos said and went back to throwing rocks at passing people below.

We walked back to the room and I sat in the chair, Mal sat next to me.
"The good news is the hand is just broken, bad news is that you will not be able to see for a couple months." Mal nodded and listened, but she wasn't there, her mind was elsewhere.
"Thank you for everything." I said taking Mal's hand and leading her out. The cast didn't limit me from using my fingers so I was still able to write. Mal was still out of it as we walked away and once we were out of the building I turned her head toward me.
"M, what's wrong." I said and she shook her head as if she had been dazed a moment before.
"Wha- oh um nothing, I've been busy helping Ben and it's wearing me out." She said I knew she was lying but I didn't want to push. I took her hand as we walked back and when we got there Ben ran over to us urgently.
"Can I borrow Mal for a little? We have some new VKs coming soon and I need to be sure the one's I picked are okay." He said pulling Mal away. I nodded and released her hand as Ben took her to the school. I turned to walk back to my dorm but almost ran into Carlos who was running towards Jane. I laughed and continued walking.

Ben showed me the list and I nodded an approval totally over looking the name Ursala written down. Just as Ben made the phone call is when I realized her name, but by the time I said something it was to late, she was coming, that little sea witch, was coming to my turf. I ran back to my dorm hardly noticing Evie in there and right as I shut the door I felt a pulse of magic run through me.
"M?" Evie said scaring me. I shook my head and collapsed into her bed.

I'm back and I have a storyline and know exactly where I want this to go, sit back, relax, and let's face it, prepare for cliffhangers. ;)
