Evie
After about a week of Mal and I being cautious she stopped having the nightmare, which she wouldn't tell me a lot about, so we stopped worrying so much. I knew nothing was wrong but there was definitely secrets between us now, or at least me. I love Mal undeniably but there was always that small gut feeling that maybe I should go back to Doug, which eventually led to me hanging out with him more often. I felt bad going behind Mal's back but I didn't want to worry her. I was sitting with Doug in the chemistry lab, we were working on a new mixture which could purify any water, we weren't getting far. Doug took my hand and smiled at me.
"I'm glad we can do this." He said and I smiled back but pulled my hand away.
"Me to, but Doug I told you." I said and he nodded going back to work.
"Right sorry." He said and we continued our work. After about an hour I got a text from Mal.
M- Evie where are you, I was going to pick Dizzy up for her painting lesson and she wasn't in her dorm. I looked everywhere and I can't find her. Please I need your help.
I quickly grabbed my things and ran for the door, but Doug stopped me.
"What are you doing I need you." Doug said getting uncomfortably close. I pushed him away but he got closer.
"I'm sorry Evie." He said and leaned in and kissed me, I should have pushed him away, but I didn't, part of me was screaming but the other half wanted me to stay, I finally won and pushed him away.
"This can't happen again." I said quickly and wiped my mouth then turned and ran out.

Mal
I waited for Evie at the dorm and when she arrived I hugged her.
"Thank god you're here. I'm trying to figure out where she is but I have no idea." I said and Evie looked at the map of Auradon I had out. She then looked out toward the isle.
"Do we know where Uma is?" Evie said and I shrugged.
"No.. you don't think.." I said and Evie looked at me nervously.
"I hope not, we can ask Ben to send a scout." She said then pulled me close and kissed me, quite intensely. I pushed away a bit and got a whiff of the scent on her, despite how hard she tried to cover it, it was the same I had been smelling for the past week, but stronger.
"Evie... is everything okay.." I said then I realised where I had smelled it before, only one person smelled like that. Doug. Evie myst have read my expression because she looked extremely nervous.
"M let me explain." She said but I pushed her away.
"Don't bother. I was trying to ignore that you've been having a secret affair, but seriously, him?!" I shouted and began to shake, the thought of losing Evie terrified me.
"Mal, there was NOTHING going on between us, Doug made a move on me. I was cornered." Evie said. I looked at her with tears in my eyes.
"Evie. I know you.. your still in love with him. No matter what I do I can't erase that from you." I said and Evie pulled me closer to her and held me so I couldn't get away.
"Mal there is no one on this earth I love more then you, I may still have my feelings for Doug, but nothing beats this." She said kissing me again.
I kissed her back with tears rolling down my cheeks and when we pulled away I got a text from Ben.
Ben- I found Dizzy, she's pretty beat up, come to the infirmary ASAP and bring Evie.
I looked at Evie worried before teleporting us both to the infirmary.
