Chapter 1

Raven

I never thought this was happening. I never thought she would accept me and run away with me while leaving all that she got in five years. All I ever wanted is Sunny, and all that I ever need is her. It will always be her.

We left everything behind, and it's just the two of us running for something that is worth it. Running for something that we know, and that's us. I hold her hand so tight; I don't want to let her go again. I don't want to leave her side again until the day I die.

We both stop, and everyone is looking at us, but I don't mind. The only person I can see is her, even in a crowded place; only her face is where my eyes are.

"R-Raven."

She whispered my name while looking at me. I kiss her face, and just looking at her, I can feel my heart melt into a thousand rivers.

"H-Hindi ko akalain mangyayari ito pakiramdam ko nananaginip lang ako." I smiled at her when a tear fell on her beautiful face.

"You're not dreaming, Mi amore; I am here. I will never leave you, never again, my love."

She hugs me while feeling the depths of her being, her shaking body, and her fragile soul. I will not leave you again. I will not hurt you again, never, my beloved Sunny.

"Ti amo, amore. Dispiace.. mi dispiace, amore. Forgive me for everything."

I hold her body so tight, I can't help it but cry. All these years I've waited for this moment.

"Let's go somewhere—somewhere we can start a new life... with me." She smiled at me and held my hand so tight.

"Let's go."

We rode a cab, and the driver was astonished when he saw Sunny. He didn't ask anything; he just drove us to the address that I gave. When we arrived, she's just looking at me, and I gave her a smile.

"Let's go inside." I hold her hand and walk inside. I open up the gate for her, and exactly my thought: I know she's going to love it.

"Oh, my gosh! Raven ang daming flowers!" I scratch my nape; I'm kind of shy.

"Uhm, I did this for you because I know how much you love flowers," she gave me a smacked, but I didn't let her get away with it. I hold her waist close to my body. I've waited so long for this.

"I miss you, Amore, and everything about you," I whisper to her after our sweet kisses.

"Mas at sobrang na miss kita at kung panaginip lang lahat ng ito Raven ayoko—ayoko nang magising pa sa kawalan. Ayoko nang magising nang wala ka sa tabi ko."

She started to cry, and so do I. I can feel the pain she has been through. All the pain that I caused her to be so fragile. What have I done?

I wipe her tears across her cheeks. "Hush now, my Sunny, I will not leave you again, Amore." I kissed her forehead and smiled at her. "Let's go inside."

I get the door key in my pocket when she asks, "Raven kaninong bahay ba to?"

"It's ours." I opened up the door for her and saw her face become brighter.

"Do you like it?" She just jumps to me and hugs me so tight.

"I guess that's a yes?" I kiss her head and tell her how much I love her.

She started to walk and check all the things inside. I'm just sitting here while looking at her.

"A-Ang ganda Raven sa atin ba talaga ito?" Tanong niya habang nakangiti at di mapigil ang sarili sa kaka-ikot.
