Chapter 4

Raven

When we arrived at home, Sunny couldn't get over with Circe. They're just running around the salas and playing. She named it Circe; well, she's the owner, so I let her decide for the name. Ang gusto pa niyang ibigay was my name, but the hell paano pagtinawag niya pati ako mapapalingon, so nope, not my name.

She filled our home with her laughter, and I'm glad to see her like this. "Mi amore, it looks like you love Circe, huh?" she kissed Circe's head before looking at me.

"Sobra! Thank you so much, Raven," then she runs to me and hugs my waist.

"Baka naman mas mahal mo na siya kesa sa akin?" I pout my lips just to make myself cute.

"Hmm. Nope, mas mahal naman kitang aso kesa kay Circe." What the hell?

"I'm not a dog, Sunny; I am a wolf, not a dog." I rolled my eyes at her. Sobra naman mukha ba akong aso sa kaniya? I'm so pretty to become a dog.

"Joke lang! Kaw naman galit ka kaagad. Biro lang, I love you more even if you're neither a human nor a wolf; you're still my Raven." The way she looks at me right now is like madness.

I can see myself in her eyes drowning in her love, and it gives me chills every time she looks at me like this. She's the only one that can make me feel this way.

"I love you so much."

A smile escapes from her mouth. "I love you more and more each day, R."

I lean closer and pull her body closer to mine. I am about to kiss her, but Circe just barks so loud.

"Oops! Nakakaistorbo ba ako sa landian niyo?

I look at the front door—it's Kim; how did she get up in here?

"Kim! ano ba? Bakit nandito ka? Paano mo nalaman dito? Ang istorbo mo talaga kahit kailan." Someone's going to throw something; I can feel it.

"Sinundan ko kayo syempre! I'm so smart talaga," then she flipped her hair. "Oh my! Husky!" She ran to Circe and stroked its fur.

"Circe! Bite! Bite!" sigaw ni Sunny halatang naiinis siyang nandito si Kim.

"Hindi ito nangangagat ng maganda, ikaw lang kakagatin nito." Sunny is about to give Kim a punch, but I stop her.

"Pasalamat ka nandito si Raven, kung hindi ay pupokpokin kita ng bagong bili kong frying pan!" I hug her from the back to calm her down. Sometimes I am grateful na hindi si Sunny ang nagiging wolf dahil kung hindi. Oh my. I can't imagine what the possibilities are.

"Napakasadista ng girlfriend mo, Raven! Ang ingay ingay pa!"

"Girls! Come on, settle down." My ears are hurting seriously. "Let's make some lunch and go to visit Inang. Sounds good?"

"Okay sa akin," Kim answered.

"Sige magluluto lang ako ng adobo paborito ni Inang yun at paborito mo." I smiled at Sunny. I miss her Adobo.

"Diyan na muna kayo sa kitchen muna ako." I kiss her before I go to the salas.

I sat on the couch. I'm with Kim; she's playing with Circe, then she started to talk without looking at me.

"Nakita kita nung isang araw." I frowned. I can't grasp what she's saying. 

"Nakita ko kung paano ka tumayo na para bang walang nangyari," then she looked at me straight in the eye—my heart started to pound. She saw it? She was there when I was hit by a car just to save that kid? It can't be.

"W-What are you talking about?" I tried to make it as if I didn't know what she was talking about, but then she gave me a smirk. Damn it, she won't let me get away with this.
